That makes sense--to make sure they keep it off for a while. It would be terrible to have that kind of surgery and then gain back weight.

someone some time ago said the contestants had to wait a year before they did any surgery to remove excess skin...don't know if it is true or not

I would love to know how many of the former contestants get cosmetic surgery to remove all that excess skin. I would love to get rid of my batwings!

I agree--2 pounds is great!

On the spanx--I noticed for example, when Irene was on, she had a halter or sleeveless dress, and at one point, you could see the roll of excess skin hanging over the top of her dress on her back.

I have a REALLY obese friend who wears bodywear...and it does help...I just don't know if I can put myself in any...literally! LOL... sounds like watching my mother put on her girdles when I was growing up [not a pretty sight]

do any of you wear bodywear? tell me about it!

and, Jess, I did think her bottom legs looked waaaay out of proportion to her slimness...good call!

Ragdoll, I was totally watching the girls in the tight dresses and seeing if I could see the outline of the shapewear underneath. Hannah was def. Rockin some shapewear, the kind that covers from the top of your tummy down to mid thigh. If you look at her thighs close you can see the lines.

I have lost 155lbs and I know I am gonna have to slap on a pair of those before I can wear a dress like that. ... Im going to a wedding in september and it will be the first time i will have got to wear a dress like that. Hope I look half as good as Hannah did in hers :-)

Just another 2 cents of mine here:

Can Hannah talk any faster ! geeze. The more weight she loses the faster she talks.

I PVR the show so I can fast forward through crap I don't want to watch (the crying, I love you soooo much portions) and the commercials.

okay...nasty me...how much is being held in place with Spanx? No, really, they've all done an amazing job...I just know my skin would hang to my knees, [and probably will if I ever finish my own journey]

I'm not that fond of the sisters. They are pretty self centered despite their words. Everything they say is about them which is boring. Thought Hannah's dress a little tight and too much, but she does look great. Not sure which of the others I want back. Irene really deserves it, but Jay stands a better chance against the sisters.

Still will be nice to see the others and how they look.

The sisters aren't my fav's either, for some reason, and I just can't put my finger on it - BUT - I'm thrilled that 3 of the 4 are women. Super testament to their dedication. Have you all voted for your choice to be the third?

I love Jay, but I wanted to see the three women as the finalists, so I voted for Irene :)

I liked the season before last best, with Mike winning it all. But last season, I loved how two of the contestants let the guy who eventually won, win that car. That was impressive.
This season, I have been amazed how fast it went, 5 mos. flys when you are having fun.

Seeing the girls get FIGURES has been the best! Boy , I would really keep those BEFORE and after in my face all the time, if I was on the show, and when I was home! They are such tellers....

I liked this season's group. They really care for each other. I found that when one team mate won something, all were genuinally happy for them. Glad to see that Olivia and Hannah are in the finals.

I also felt it was okay not great. The sisters are not my favorites--I mute the TV when they get started talking--but they have worked hard and deserved to be in the finals. I was a little annoyed by Bob's carrying on about how much he loves them last night--it didn't seem very fair to the other two standing there--and I love Bob.

Mehhh I thought the season was so-so.
I think it was a longer season so it stands to reason that the finalists have lost so much more than before....or at least I thought I heard Ali or someone try to make the comment about it being a longer season?
I didn't like the "girls" against the boys attitude of many of the players and the "underdogs" against the "big boys" attitude as well. I think Bob (who I love to death) fostered that as a way to get the most effort out of the girls but to me it just made for some attitude problems
Everyone has their own problems to deal with and by making judgements from the small sample of what you see on TV is to me not "nice" but then again some people don't care about the person inside but just what they see on the outside.
I say well done to everyone who tried and can't wait to see the finale but hope they don't have tight shiny satin dresses on the girls as usual and maybe some pretty hair for them too! LOL

and I certainly hope that with DISQUALIFICATION or LEAVING that Rulon is just OUT! I don't want to know how he's done. He's a spoiled brat who thought he could make up his own rules.

I hope the entire finale is CLOSE...on the ranch and at home...I'd like to see all of them come out winners.

I too liked this season better than last, but also really sad about Jillian leaving. Just hope Bob doesn't decide to leave any time in the next 10 or 20 seasons LOL! It would not be the same without either of them.

I am really pleased with this season of the biggest loser. I was not feeling it last season, but for some reason they have really pulled it together this season and I have really enjoyed it. Im glad, after last season I thought the show was maybe losing something. lol, no pun intended.
