on a physical level - i do what used to be termed 'heartbreak cleaning' - that is turning to my environment to some how make it more comfortable and better to be in.
also - going out for a walk if i can.
mentally - i read, take out a lovely magazine - something with NO bad news in it - articles that are fun, nice to see - decorating - or fashion.
i listen to music also - just turn on the radio - sometimes dance - with the pugs- they love it.
on an emotional level - I PRAY a lot. i feel like i have lived all my adult live in a war zone - as i never know what will happen during the day -
i long for a peaceful quiet predictable home------ (the only thing predictable now is the UNPREDICTABILITY AND VOLATILITY AND VIOLENCE here).
but stress is always there - bad stress that produces for all of us CORTISOL whIch hampers our weight loss and how we feel.
i am tired - really mentally drained - i think the only time i will be truly at peace is in the coffin - no joke.
