Lily, you are so right about the soup. It's so delicious, I even had some for breakfast!

Let's not let our mistakes get the better of us. As long as we're trying we're succeeding to some extent.
Remember, one pound is equivalent to 4 sticks of butter, so let's give ourselves credit and have a real positive attitude.

Here's my confession ... Unfortunately, it is becoming very obvious that I am NOT going to lose those dastardly 5 pounds by Halloween, but I am promising myself that I will start today, this minute to get 'things' under control ... And hopefully figure out just exactly what I am doing to myself, and why.

WW soup sounds like a great idea, Chippee!

So, I've been doing okay. I tend to be an emotional eater and I eat when I feel alone. DH left Friday for California to visit his brother.
Between the anxiety of his having two flights to get there and missing him, I decided to go ahead and eat almost anything I wanted which included Hershey's miniatures. This isn't the best idea for me, once I have chocolate everyday for a few day my addiction kicks in. So...I am going to try to do better. I can even see in my skin that I'm not feeling as well.
DD just made a cauldron of WW vegetable soup and I think that may help me get back on track.
One thing is for sure, I am NOT giving up because of this setback.

Almost Indian summer again here in Dutchess County NY. Yesterday was almost 80 and I switched the heat back to air conditioning.
Yesterday was not a good day for taking care of myself. I ate way too much in between meals. Don't know what I was thinking. Today is another day and I can do better.

Living in Idaho, I KNEW that our beautiful fall weather would change soon. However, that doesn't mean that I am ready for what I know winter will bring. Definitely time to "make hay while the sun shines" ... Which in the weight loss department means drink more water, pay attention to what I am putting in my mouth, and get my boots and down-filled winter coat ready for brisk walks in the coming snow.

Still working on losing 5 pounds by Halloween ... But need to step it up, and be more diligent. YES ... We can do this!!!

I'm still here, although I'm not very active since the birth of my twins early this year. I am back to tracking food and trying to get back onto the workout train....taking care of crawling twins can be all the workout I need some days. Haha.

On a good path to make 2,000 fitness minutes this month. Today, I did an hour plus bike ride; tomorrow doing a 5+ mile walk; Tuesday going kayaking; Wednesday doing two hour work hike in am and doing a 3 mile moonlight walk in pm; Thursday doing an hour water aerobics and later two hours of Tai Chi; and next Saturday I'm leading a 20 mile bike ride.

I'll try to go hiking next Sunday.

I will be taking a week to go visit relatives in SC but hope to stay on track for exercise.

Next month, I want to start food journaling again. The goal is to get that habit fixed. I also want to start tracking calories. I want a minimum of two days a week.

I also plan to lose 5 pounds this month... time to finish what I started!

Also here even if not super active.

Have lost some weight over summer. I'm hoping to get fitness minutes back to the 2,000/month range. The last time I had that many minutes was in May.

Feeling VERY good about myself today. I did a two hour bike ride AND now have a two year exercise streak.

Just saw your email and wanted to let you know I am still here and have no plans of not being.
I've lost 7 pounds in the past few months, but still struggle with making good choices everyday. But I am not giving up and this weight loss is motivating me to continue.
Hope you're well and root for your 5 pounds to come off.

October already?? Hard to believe, but must be true because Halloween stuff is on every shelf in every store. My plan for October is to lose 5 pounds, which is perfectly do-able!

If it is to be, it is up to ME!

Do it, NOW!
