Thanks, everyone! I just hope I can help out LilyBelle a bit and make our old stomping grounds a nice place to hang out and reconnect with our original team.

As for me - I have been on SP three years now. The first year I was in RN school and I spent most of my time reading, learning and making a few small but powerfully healthy changes. The one I am most proud of - I kicked a pretty much lifelong habit of drinking soda. Clean and sober (ha, ha) for three years now. That year I didn't GAIN any weight, which most of my fellow students did, so I call that year a win.

2nd year - I lost some weight and then gained some, not all, back.

3rd year - I have had to quit my job to home school my 7yr old son who was diagnosed with Sensory Integration Disorder. It basically makes him appear to be a severely ADHD kid with some behavioral issues. In reality he has a genius level IQ and his disorder makes him unable to calm to himself down when frustrated or irritated. OT and some meds are helping him quiet the neuro info and learn to control the rest. After dealing with his issues, and getting into a routine - I am back at SP with some renewed motivation.

I am 47. Married to a terrific guy that I only found 8 years ago, hence the 7 year old son. lol
I am an RN by profession. A crafter by choice. Crafting is my valium! But I am getting ready to open an Etsy shop and sell some things I have been selling in a store locally, online.

My health plan. Daily and monthly goals that accumulate to my BIG Goal. My Big goal is always a 10% weight lost goal. I have some reward systems along the way for hitting monthly and final goals. I am currently using a 90day Fitness Walking program that I really like. I can chunk my walks into 10min increments which works really well for now.

Want to know anything else? Just ask!

I will posting the point results for Spark and Fitness points for last month later today. Keep an eye for new daily chat posts, games to play, and challenges.

I will also be asking for feedback on what you would like to see on this site, so think about things that would help to plug you into the team and make life more joyful for you! My email is always open!

Bestmepossible (Andi) has agreed to be a Co-Leader for this team - thank you, Andi!!

A nice round of applause for our new co-leader would be nice, but because she probably wouldn't hear that, let's all join forces here and welcome her!! I think she will be kind enough to give us a bio and tell us a little more about her - right?

WooHoo - we're headed in the right direction because bestmepossible has lots of great ideas to share!!!

So - welcome, new Co-Leader!!

Do it, NOW!
