Did the Day 1 video with my 6-year-old... she made it look easy. Me, not so much. I had watched the video yesterday so I would know what i was getting into. It looked easy... notice I said "looked". I made it through, somehow. But it was worth every second. Also got in 20 minutes on the elliptical today and 20 mins on the bike.

Undernourished myself today on accident. Wasn't really hungry, and looking at my tracker now, I didn't realize I had undereaten so much. Disadvantage of sleeping till almost 11 and having "breakfast" at 1130

I feel good. I was only able to do the first 6 minutes. I have to mod, because I have problems with my feet and I am still working on getting to were I can jump around and be safe... but I'm hanging in there and sticking to it!! emoticon

I did the walking part easily- not able to jump like that YET - increased the speed of my walk movements to the jumping portion and followed along the best I could. I do like the video and it will be a challenge that I will work on. I did not count the video on my tracker - as I did not accomplish the goal. emoticon

Well, I did it. I didn't want to but I finally just got up and did it. It was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. I definitely had to modify it. The jumping was a little rough on the old joints. That's a lot of weight to be pounding on those ankles and knees! LOL emoticon

Much harder than I thought It would be; the jumps are something that will take time to get down. But a good day nonetheless!

I did day 1 with my kids, they did all the jumping, I just did the side to side stepping and some level 2 stuff. They had some energy to burn. It did not get me winded but my legs were on fire!

Looking forward to getting better and better as the month goes on.

What a great video! One day soon I hope to be able to do the highest intensity just like Coach Nicole! For now I will keep it on low until I am physically ready. I did not know a ten minute cardio workout could feel so intense.

I DID IT!!!! I started the Bootcamp Challenge today and let me tell you: if keeping up with my son wasn't motivation enough, all my flub jiggling around was! At least my knee didn't hurt after this excersize (like it does with other workouts) and I felt really good (if a little sweaty) after! I posted the wrong weight on my page, I'm a whopping 236.6 (I'm 5'4"). Lots to go!!!

Ok! I made it through day one. I did a pretty intensive workout on my treadmill. I raised my heart rate up to almost 150. I burned almost 200 calories and went a mile and a half. So all in all I am doing well. I also moved furniture, vacuumed and dusted today as I took down my Christmas tree today. So I got in a really good workout. Now I am hoping to make it through this first week as I have to get up at 4 a.m. to exercise. It is the only time that I have to do it. Wish me luck.

I did Day 1 workout after I woke up and all I can say is WOW!! I was so tired after about 4 minutes, but I plowed through it. The most difficult part was jumping on one leg. I realized just how unbalanced I was!!

Made it through on a lower intensity. My ankles and knees aren't ready for quite so much jumping.

I felt it in my butt and thighs, and I was ready for the cooldown, but it also felt good. :)

I didn't want to do it. I was trying to make excuses so that I would feel like I didn't have to, but then I thought that if I was already making excuses on the first day then what's going to stop me from making excuses every other day.
So I got up and did it!!!! and now I feel great!

Wow. I am NEVER doing that workout again. Ever. Wow. For that little calorie burn and so much pain, I'd rather add on an extra mile to my usual run.

OW. And that has nothing to do with the cardio. I barely worked up a sweat, but I'm pretty sure I tweaked a few tendons in my ankles and feet pretty badly. Are there going to be a lot of workouts with plyo in them? Because if there are, I'll just quit right now.

SO not worth it for 132 calories.

Day One DONE! I tried to do it with my shoes off at first (I live in an apartment and I have hardwood floors), but I didn't want to hurt my knees and ankles, so I put on sneakers midway through.

Hi,
MKprincess and I are on the same wavelength - I did it last night as well as this evening. Last night I learned not to drink a bunch of water before the workout!
In addition I did a 4 mile Leslie Sansone walking video this AM!

My knees just can't take jumping, so I stayed at the middle intensity for most of it. It felt too short, so I also did another 10 minute cardio video. It was a good day to stay in for my workout- high of 9 F, snowing, and windy!

I actually did this video last week and hurt so bad the next day, I didn't realize it was part of our boot camp, but I must say it was easier, -er being key word, this time..I could actually jump on one leg the whole time! So that just goes to show that the more you do it the easier it gets! Here's to day 1!

Did the Day 1 video, with some modifications. Had to slow it down during the higher level intensity exercises a couple of times, but I was able to finish it. Also, at the end, I did 5 minutes of jumping rope to bring up my total number of calories burned. I realized just how out of shape I am, but with the help of this butt-kickin' boot camp, I'll get there!
