Sometimes you just have to "go with the flow." About once or twice each month I have a day when I am lucky to get out of my PJ's! Yep, I'm a slob, don't get dressed, stay in the house all day taking turns sleeping and reading. It doesn't do much for my effort in getting healthy and losing weight, but it is great for the morale! I'm retired so I can afford to do it -- it's good for my soul.

I am here to say I can relate also, the lack of motivation is like a kick in the teeth sometimes. There are days I just want to lay there and allow myself the R&R well that is just it. At least give yourself one day to relax but the others you work hard. And keep in mind it is something that will make you happy and you love yourself.

I have to tell myself on a constant basis that I am happy this is going to be great and I love myself even though I am not where I want to be yet but I will get there. The proof is in the jeans that are already falling off.

I wish you well. Hugs

Whatever you ask for in prayer,
believe that you have received it,
and it will be yours. (NIV)
Mark 11:24

I only take one day at a time, and not worry about the past. Right now is what is important.

MYRNACARRIER-----Don't let the scale rune all your hard work. The same thing happened to me on Friday, I got on the scale hoping to have lost 2 pounds and gained 2 1/2.
Don't give in we will beat the scale and every other obstacle in our way. emoticon Just don't give up.

Yes, I know the feeling of unmotivation. Yesterday, I got on the scale and it had gone up two lbs. I had been eating within my calorie limits all week. I only wanted to lose another 1 1/2 lbs. this week to keep on the path I wish to attain so that I will reach my goal at the end of May. I kept track but later in the day I sort of gave up and I know that because of that I didn't even want to get on the scale today and I felt so heavy and didn't even go for my walk today. Tomorrow is another day and perhaps I can get this train of behaviour back on track. Wish me some luck. Some support would be great also.

Unmotivated" I can't think of how many Mornings I have woken up and just wanted to hide under the covers. Some Days it is all to much for anyone to cope with. The weight all the pain & the WHY SHOULD I.
But then my bladder what's some attention, and of course I have this taste in my mouth, so it's time to brush my teeth, and to see, what I am doing I have to wash my face and brush the hair out of my eyes. By that time, What the H--- mine as well take that shower and do those exercises, and have breakfast and drink the coffee. And before I know it I am back in the grove, and working at having the best life I can have.

We all have those moments (sometimes they last ALL DAY) but after we indulge in a bit of pity, we need to get out there and MOVE something. That something is usuallly our BUTT!
