This is an interesting topic....I have never had the need to contact FitBit's customer service but now am armed with not one, but two ways to do so! I have also noticed the syncing issue and done the same thing (inserting the device on the stand and then forgetting about it-I hate when that happens!). What I was most impressed with was that I was away from home for four days and when I synced the device upon my return it logged all of these day's information. This was very nice!

Yes, what Beth said. I had forgotten their email address. When I left my original Fitbit on a plane, I tweeted about it, and got a response within minutes, requesting that I email support@fitbit.com with my "story." To make a long story short, I received a new Fitbit in the mail within 3 days!

Lately mine hasn't been syncing consistently. Sometimes it will go several hours without a sync, even in the same room as the base. It syncs if I plug it in, but then I have forgotten it on the charger and lost steps. Forgot to wear it to work last night and had to manually log that. Mine is a year old now.

Thanks so much for your response. If mine used to flash that I probably just forgot because I have had it for about 18 months now. Right now it seems to be working good, hopefully it continues.
I do not have a Twitter account but haven't been too happy with the Customer Service on the FitBit site. I posted my question 5 days ago, and bumped it up 2 days ago and nothing. One other time, a while back, I also asked a question and again got no reponse. Other people have been very happy with the quick repsonses they received, but unfortunately that hasn't been my experience.
Oh well...lol
Thanks again, Amy

When you first start using the Fitbit, it flashes "steps," "miles," calories," etc. I think that's just a temporary reminder so that people know what each number means. I'm not sure when tat went away, but it does eventually.

If you're on Twitter, you should contact @Fitbit with any questions. They'll respond fast, usually within minutes if it's during the week. Great customer service.

I have been having some issues with my fitbit lately and still not sure if it's working correctly? When you press the button on your fitbit to see how many steps you have- does it just display a # or does it flash the word "Steps" and then the #? I don't ever remember it saying "steps" and then the #...
Last week it totally stopped working and wouldn't record my steps at all. I then reset it with the button on the charger and it seems to be working ... but there are things that seem different.
I don't know? emoticon I tried asking on the site but haven't gotten any response.
Thanks in advance.
Amy
