I have used synthroid for several years, i have read that Armor, can be better for patients with depression and lack of Energy, and thinking to ask my doctor about this at next appt. Has anyone else switched to Armor for these reasons?

I've used Synthroid for ~8 years-- Synthroid, not the generic. I've had multiple doctors say that the name brand is the only one they can trust to have a consistent dose. ...sorry, I can't help with Armour.

My alternative medicine practitioner prefers Armour for hypothyoidism. My internist said Armour dose is hard to regulate and prefers I switch to Synthroid. There is so much on the web advocating for one or the other. What have been your personal experiences (good or bad) with either?
