Did the day two video, and went back and did the Kickboxing from Sunday too very early this morning. It was quite fun trying to get my band to stay on my foot, especially since I was not a wake. Thank goodness we can rewind the video. Was able to do the challenge,and completed my 2.5 mile walk. Feel great! emoticon

Did 60 minutes of cardio, my regular strength training and the day 2 video...

Oh ya! I ran my best mile time ever... 8 min 35 sec.

I was so excited, it was hard but I DID IT! YAY!

Done. Broke the resistance band toward the end and snapped myself in the ankle when it broke. That smarts. Had to finish the rest without a band, but hey, better than nothing...

Day 2 done and over with. Actually, I'm kind of glad that I inadvertently did today's video yesterday, otherwise I wouldn't have had the right type of band. I think I'm going to need more practice to get the right resistance from the one I was able to get (long 56" resistance tube from WalMart) but I think it'll work okay.

Then I did 10min dance aerobics, the NY Day 1 Kickboxing Video and then 10 minutes of another kickboxing routine. My gosh are my legs killing me.

No videos yet -- going to have to do some extra to catch up. But I did do 40 minutes on the treadmill tonight (about 215 calories or so).

Yah...day 2 done. I had my team weight loss at the gym today so 30 hard minutes on the treadmill. Then tonight I did the video. It was a little tough with the bands, they kept slipping, or just not right. But I still feel like I got a good workout. Let's see tomorrow how sore I am!

Am I missing something? I did the day 2 video and can't find it anywhere to add it to my fitness tracker. Help!

Since I started a day late, today I did yesterday's video, today's video, ate my 3 pieces of fruit and I'm going to go to the gym, walk/run and swim later! Woohoo!

I liked the workout today, but next time I'll use the green (more resistance) band to do it. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's resistance band for upper body, but I already know it's going to be a KILLER for my back! I've been doing those seated rows with the resistance band, and it's always my back that gives out first...and tomorrow's workout keeps going onto other exercises, in the same position! I'm pretty sure I'll be pausing the video tomorrow, or sitting against a wall or the sofa for some back support before it's finished.

supposedly (i'm not a nutritionist) fruit is digested more quickly than other foods. When eaten before other foods the fruit can simply pass through the body.
When eaten after other foods it begins to ferment.

Either way, it still has lots and lots of fiber and goodness!

my bands are flat - no place to put foot either.

Tomorrow looks like tricep pushups and for some reason by elbows just don't bend deep for these.

it is like I can get perhaps 2 inches down then I can't go further...does anyone else have this problem? I can do overhead with weight for tricep but the basic tricep pushup I cannot do...

I did something today my hubby never dreamed possible. I am a six pack a day or 2lt a day drinker of coke classic..... I went the whole day without one. why do I have more energy? I did my video. added the kick from day one. Did about 1/2 on my ball. Did my 1 mile walk diet vieo. walked 11280 steps and my job requires sitting in my car so I ate my fruit while driving....I am beat.

Heads up for the ones having problems because of dial up. Last night before I went to bed I downloaded for today... after 3 hours I checked it had 4 min completed. I went to sleep. Woke up it was done. I took out my digi cam recorded it. saved it on my puter so I have it. So today when I got off work I played the video and had no wait time. I have 2 kids still at home and I have to work around them.... We all know kids run mom not the other way around. So tonight when I go to bed I will download for tomorrow then do the same thing every night. It really seemed better than waiting for hours while awake.

I did 30 minutes on the bike this morning, along with 2 sets each of pushups and crunches. I didn't have bands until today, so after work (while dinner was heating up) I followed the video. Pretty sure I didn't do it right, because it wasn't much of a workout... guess it'll take practice. Or I'll borrow my son's ankle weights for this one next time. ;)

I also had a hard time with the band, it was still a good workout though. I added an extra 1/2 hour on the elliptical, felt great.

I've started this video before, but never finished it because my resistance band is not the kind with handles, so it isn't easy to do. I had to stop the video four or five times to retie my band, but I did feel my muscles working. I don't do a lot of lower body strength training since I use the elliptical a lot, so it was a change. I probably won't ever use the video after this bootcamp, though.

Day 2 is over and I manage to do everything, including my 3 servings of fruit. I did 30 min. on my eliptical and the 10 min. video. I was having a little trouble with my band, it was probably my coordination more than anything else. I even got in an hour of gardening. emoticon

I used the bands I had and they were not right there was a roll underneath my feet and it was uncomfortable. I will have to get different ones. I had 3 bananas steamed stirred fried vegetable, and onions, strawberries today. I need to be more coordinated.

The rabbit lost the race, but the turtle won because he was slow and kept moving.

I did the video after doing an hour and a half of Kenpo for my Cardio. I have to say that I am not a fan of resistance bands. I always have to keep adjusting them and I still can never get consistant results - there is always too much tension or not enough. Next time I might just use my ankle weights instead. It will be a lot less frustrating.

Started a one hour Outdoor Fitness Class today which we did alot of cardio and upper body weight training (2-5lb weights)complemented by Day 2 workout video made it all around great day of working out. emoticon

Today's workout went good. I walked shopping in 5 stores today, walking up and down aisles so I think I did ok. I ate fresh strawberries and 2 apples for the fruit challenge. Drinking my water constantly!

Day 2 is done. I bought the wrong kind of bands so I just did it without. I still felt it, but I'll try to get the other bands tomorrow. I've also got to get to the gym tomorrow for my cardio. I'll just have to do cardio on Saturday & make this another off day. Got all me fruits in for the challenge though. Sodium has been the problem for me the last few days. I'll have to get that back in check.

good day, I did my rites, the video, walked 85 min with DH and ate 1108 calories, drank 9 glasses of water
Changed, Washed clothes and cleaned a closet.

Woohoo!! Day 2! I am really happy with my exercise today! I kicked but on the treadmill and did the workout video for day 2~ I have a feeling my thighs are going to kill me in the morning! Its the food thing though..I really need to make better choices when under peer pressure!

No. You can break up your cardio. Research has shown that it has the same impact but increase the time as you get more comfortable.

I'm glad others didn't find it too difficult. I could have done it again, but it's relatively late and I've already run (30 min) and walked (30 min), today so don't particularly need any more calorie burn. Is there a way to make it more intense or do we just have to repeat it?

It always works out in the end, so if it isn't working out, it isn't the end.

I'm really enjoying the videos because they're so short and simple. I'm using them as warm-ups for my workouts, and I'm going to try to match up my weight lifting days to whatever parts the videos are for so I can keep my days spaced out well. :)

Finished day 2! yeah oh yeah! Felt great right after and i had more energy during the day than i usually do! I am kinda of petering out now though and it is only 6:30pm here!

I got in the workout and 35 minute weight loss walk/jog. I was using the actual band type of resistance bands and not the type she was using. I wasn't really eeling anything too much. Maybe I was doing something wrong.

At the bottom of the page of the exercise video there is a link to add to fitness tracker on all the strength training videos. The cardio video is added under add cardio on your fitness page. Just type in video and it will bring up the cardio videos including the kick boxing video.

HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT FRUIT ANY BETTER IN DAY THAN NIGHT BUT ALSO THOUGHT WORK OUT WAS A LITTLE SHORT. DID THE WORKOUT ALONG WITH MY STRENGTH TRAINING AND MY WALK, SO I FELT PRETTY GOOD AS WELL. GOT ALL OF MY FRUIT IN AS WELL. BUT I USUALLY HAVE A PIECE OF FRUIT AT NIGHT AS A SNACK.

Did the workout and it was great. Think it could have been a little longer. Just my opinion. I did the wrong one first, did another 7 day boot camp, but then did them both. Feel great! Had all my fruit during the day, heard that it was better than at night, anyone else hear that?

I just finished Day 2! Had to go get a band and it was worth the money. Need to practice using it - video would have gone faster if I could work the band! Almost have my fruit in by the end of the day I will have completed day 2 challenges despite not feeling well.

I got bands from the military store on post and they are not like the ones used to I had a bit of trouble with them I am going to have to figure out a better way to use them effectively for this, they do not go around the foot well. I did get a work out though and I am happy that is done. Now the 30 minutes.... that will not be as easy for me!
