Well, that was an interesting experience. I've never tried kickboxing before, but I just did the cardio kickboxing, and I never would have realised how uncoordinated I was. I knew I had no rhythm, but that was a joke!. Kicks and punches flying in all directions, at one point I even ran into my wall! And I started out a good four feet away from it! My roommate was watching me from the other room laughing her butt off at me. But that's okay. At least I was up doing something!

I completed the first workout video earlier. I wouldn't have thought so, but I am totally uncoordinated. LOL! At one point, I was just punching and kicking in any direction. But sometime soon, I WILL get it right!

Did the first work out this afternoon, was a challenge, had to adjust my own personal intensity. Did some arm toning after that and went on a 26 min walk. I'm very excited about this challenge!

ok .. ha ha ha .. I am incredibly uncoordinated! The workout intensity was good, speed was good but I had to rewind a couple of times just to try and get some of the moves right. Had a good laugh at me!! Such a dolt!

It's on the Cardiovascular bar. There's a button that says 'Add Cardio'. If you click on that and type in something like Sparkpeople 10-min Cardi Kick you should find it in a list that shows up.

Good luck,

I just completed Day 1 Cardio as well. I am right with you Lesannnhandshoe, my kicks were not as high and my jumping jacks were modified, but I persevered to the end. I also did a walk and some yard work, so I am kicking my butte into action.

Day 1 went better than expected. Looking forward to tomorrow.

G-G-MA - when you go to the fitness tracker - look under cardio - click on browse and then select other exercises. When you browse through the listing you should see SP 10-minute cardio kickboxing workout video.

Just completed the kickboxing cardio video. It totally kicked my butt. It was fun. I did it as I listened to the news. It is rainy here and arthritis was in full force. My legs and feet kept locking up and popping, but I kept pressing on. I got dizzy also, but didnt fall - yet. lol. I had to modify the jumping jacks a bit and the low mid high was not high, but was high as I could safely do tonight. I could not believe how much I was out of shape since the last time I done this video - maybe it was the weather. My bonus is completed as well.

I did the workout for day 1, and loved it! But can't find where to log it. The fitness tracker has a drop-down menu under strength training, but it lists separate exercises, not videos. Can someone help me? emoticon

This is a nice way to start a bootcamp. The workout was good and I got the challenge done too. I can see that I'll be doing this one two to three times by the end of the month so it will be a true aerobic workout.

I liked the kickboxing workout, I'd never done this one on sparkpeople before today. I've done the 10 min cardio workout, I love that one. The kickboxing one isn't as intense as that one, at least for me.

Haven't done some of those kick boxing moves before and I'm sort of a klutz.... but I made it through and plan to do it again before the day is over. Took my measurements this morning for bonus points and now I'm looking forward to seeing results at month end and losing pounds and inches. Day One ! DONE.

I just finished my first video, actually 2 since I warmed up with the 10 min Cardio Blast. I had trouble with the steps and some of the kicking ( bad knees). We danced every weekend when we were in college, but 30 years later and I am a clutz. Oh well, no one can see me so I don't care.

OMG! I am OUT OF SHAPE. Had to modify the jumping jacks, but I got the steps almost right. And I FINISHED THE WHOLE THING!! Not bad for a woman over 300.
Did my 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill at the gym, and did some strength training there too. I will be feeling it tomorrow, I am sure.

Well Day 1 is done and I have to say it was a lot easier than when I did the New You Bootcamp in Jan.
I still need to work out some of the moves but that's okay. I also did my cardio by digging up more grass to make my vegetable garden bigger and I did the video after working in the yard. I have to say I feel emoticon sore but feeling good. I ended my day by soaking in the hot tub. emoticon

I made it through day one. It was a great energizer. I did the video first and had a good jump start on he heart rate before I ever got on my bike and finished my cardio for the day.

Like a lot of others the coordination of the steps/boxing/kicking was a challenge, but a lot of fun too!

Starting Spark Weight in September 2010; 272 pounds. Been on and off a few times like a yo-yo. And here I am at 293 in March of 2017. I joined a work group for 'Weigh-down Wednesday' 12 week challenge. And came back to SP because I knew it worked.

I enjoyed today's video. I must admit, the first few steps reminded me of my lack of coordination :) But I do enjoy doing those moves, it just takes me a little while to catch on! So it wasn't the prettiest... I'm also used to some of the moves I do as an after school program karate instructor (to grade schoolers, so I can keep up with them :) but it was nice to learn some variations!

I'm pumped about this bootcamp and excited for it to keep me on track!

In addition to the video today I also walked and ran 5 miles (only ran 2.5ish of those miles). It was nice, and my husband was along, which is always nice.

Good luck to all!

It sure let's you know that what can happen in a 30 minute work out can sure happen in a 10 minute workout. It was a good workout. I look forward to the rest of them. I see myself in that bathing suit!

Everything's Peachy!
