Day 2

I did 40 minutes of cardio, a 30 minute walk (about 2 miles) in between rain showers and then I did the kickboxing video again emoticon Did better than yesterday but still having problems with the jab, hook, whatever combo. Arms and legs can't move at the same time! emoticon

On to today's workout. I liked it. Really felt it. I need to figure out the best way to place the band though.

Good morning everyone! I did the first day yesterday as a 10 min cardio and felt great about it. I'm shaky on some of the moves because I haven't done any like that before, but felt better about them today. I hope they keep the other Day 1 bootcamp vids available, I like those for my extra 20 min. The strength didn't get me sweating, but did get my muscles warmed up and burning.Ready for tomorrow!

Kim - Walk around the dojo while DD has karate if it rains and you can't do during lunch.

I got my cardio in this morning before work. I did C25K - W5D2. I will complete the strength training when I get home this evening. I have one serving of fruit down and two more to go!

So how is everyone feeling after the first and second workouts?
Me I am feeling great...
Looking forward to the results this challenge is going give me!

I still need to post my stats...something I really don't care to share with everyone...shoot I hate seeing myself let alone letting the world know!

I am thinking of doing that part on a personal basis...however I will post my total inches overall!

Did Day One video plus 25 minutes of cardio challenge walk/jog on the treadmill. Trying to get the walk for 30 minutes today at lunch as long as it doesn't rain and then video later tonight. At work all day then my daughter has karate after work.

I'm going to do the workout today. I did the one yesterday but my internet connection is SO slow that, even after I let it load for a good half an hour, it still stopped and started every couple of seconds. I just kept doing to move until it started again so I think I got twice the workout! haha

Well I will be starting this challange a little later then I schould. Ihad my gallbladder removed last week. I am not aloud to do any time of heavy lifting or extenious workouts till I got the okay. My dr. apt is this thursday so I hope I get the all clair. All I have been doing is walking a little here and there when I am not in pain.

Hi,
I missed yesterday (thought we start monday duh!) So, I was going to catch up and do day ONE.
I CANNOT SEE THE VIDEO...there is nothing there but the text...I have a fairly new MAC, and have seen plenty of videos on this site...but there is not even the blank video screen...what's up??
Since the first video is kickboxing, I think I'll count my yesterday Turbo Jam (40 minutes) of doing the kickboxing video - Is that ok?

Okay my attempt at today's video was comical. My dog loves the resistance band. He thought it looked like a toy. I had a hard time figuring out how to keep them on my foot. I am short and I felt like I had too much band to hold.

Oh well I guess it is getting use to the equipment.

Morning all! I am very excited about this bootcamp, and I'm really glad others are too. i do have to say though, that it is driving me NUTS that people can't read the directions and keep posting new threads!!!!! I don't want to turn off the new message notifications, because I've been having a hard time consistently checking SparkPeople, and don't want to miss one of Denise's posts, but I'm going to have to, because 37 new emails since 9pm last night is outrageous.

Good evening everyone!!!
I too am so exited to star this challenge. I did the video and then some. I also worked in the yard. I had helped a neighbor thin out her hosta's and planted them in the front this morning. I had to dig a new flower bed and I am a hurting unit tonight. Tomorrow I and going to do more exercises, I have been struck by the allergy bug. I hope that is all it is.
Back to the video and challenges. I have updated my page and added a few pictures to my gallery. I will add my swimsuit picture tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a great night and keep on sparking!!!

I did the video and spent at least an hour gardening. The emoticon was out and it was a beautiful day!!!
I went to buy emoticon 's and emoticon plants for the garden. Digging in the dirt was great, but hard on the back. We divided up a bunch of Hosta clumps and over all had a great day with the family. I did the video in the evening and it helped me to stretch out a little. Now on to Day 2.....

Did kickboxing video and went to the Y to do elliptical and treadmill for 90 mins.

Hard to follow video ... not a kickboxer...but enjoyed it. Will keep trying to get it right!

Went out today and bought a band for tomorrow's workout!

K. Took a sneak peek at tomarrows video. Looks like fun, but I'm going to have to use my ankle weights because I can't seem to find any of my bands anywhere. I knew it has been a while since i used them, but didn't think it was that long!!!

Day 1 a success. I did the kickboxing video and loved it. I also walked for 30 mins.
Can't wait to do tomorrows video and my regular running. I run on monday, tuesday and thursday for 60 mins or 4 miles.
So far loving the workouts

Day 1 was a success! I played kickball for 2 hours and did plenty of running so I got my regular cardio in for the day. I did the video too. I can't believe that I have so much trouble balancing, I used to dance in highschool! If anyone was watching me they'd be laughing, but I made it through the whole thing without modifying the moves! YAY! Also posted my weight and measurements. I took before pics in my bra and underwear but think I will keep those to myself. lol Don't want anyone to lose their dinner!! Good luck to everyone on Day 2!

Alright! Posted my stats on my SparkPage and did the ten minute video. I love the kickboxing; it reminds me of my martial arts days. But I have to say, I'm so out of shape, my old Sensei would be most unhappy :-(.

Uh...and I went over my calories. But I have designated Sunday as my cheat day and I HAD to have some of that peanut butter milkshake. BUT I didn't finish it all. Props to me!

Ok, I tried day one on May first and now - I'm glad day one has only 3 more times. I'm not crazy about the kickboxing and I felt like I was batting at flys - just a little too complicated for me, but I'm committed for the month, I may do the new you boot-camps too - I could handle them. Just finished the 1st workout...kick boxing is not something I normally do, neither is organized fitness videos or classes...so this was definitely out of my comfort zone! But it was good!
