Your carbs will be below the Spark People recommended numbers in Phase 1. In Phase 2 they'll be at the low end of the recommended range.

South Beach does not count carbs.

Menu looks yummy! Have you thought of giving beans a try? Throw some on top of your salad for extra fiber. I found that I usually tracked low on fiber and the beans helped.

Have you got the book? Supercharged or the original? I've lost almost 50 lbs since end of December. Best of luck to you and DH!! Enjoy your journey to better health!

Yah, Jess, your cheese is a bit high. Remove 1 or 2 servings.

I thought phase 1 was one or two servings of cheese.

Hi Jess

I'd recommend plugging your menu into the nutrition tracker for tomorrow and having a look at your numbers. I think your milk intake and therefore your calcium might be a bit low. Try adding milk as a drink or yogurt as a snack.

Hey all,
well I have been thinking about doing southbeach for a few weeks now and after working my butt off and having some really crappy weigh ins I have desided Im going to give south beach a try. Me and my hubby went shopping yesterday and we are starting in the morning. I planned out my menu and was wondering if someone would look it over and tell me if it looks good or needs so tweaking. Thanks.

~ Jess
