When it is all said and done it will be one of the best times of your life. I know it was for me.

Nothing is worse than getting your butt handed to you cuz you are not in shape. I have done some camps like that I am not gonna let that happen with boot camp. I wanna be in shape so I won't have to worry about dying during PT and I can actually maybe enjoy some of it.

Good luck. The first time I joined I was at the top of what the Army would accept for a new recruit and basic was pretty painful getting in shape. You are off to the right start getting in shape before hand.

I have already been training really hard. I can do the minimum right now but like you said, I want to be able to do more than the minimum when I get to boot camp cuz I don't wanna be just getting by on PT. Thanks for all the advice, it's alot of help!

WOOHOO! Go NAVY!

I agree - practice the PT now and actually if you can - strive to do better. You can do it!

Have you looked at their minimum PT standards and everything? I know for Air Force, PT is VERY important. If you can meet the minimum standards before you leave for training, you'll be WAY better off by the time you graduate.

The Air Force standards for females under 30 is ridiculous...I'm striving to meet the guys' minimums so I'll stop getting comments about how the girls' standards are too easy...

Train hard and remember your goal...that's the only way to get through.

I took the asvab test yesterday and I got an 80 on it, so I am extremely excited! I wasn't expecting to do that well cuz I was super nervous for it. Now I just have to drop 15 lbs and I will be on my way to joining the military!! Sooo excited!!!!
