Hi, I'm Evelyn and I'm also in surrey. Only joined today so a raw beginner. Have a lot of weight to loose and could also do with a buddy to help motivation and commitment.

Try finding a team that is geographically local to your area & joining in with them. We in the UK Midlands Team have a great network and regularly organise get-togethers.

Just go into Community, Spark Teams, Geographic Locations, United Kingdom.

I know this is a little off thread but does anyone know how I can find members close to me? The search facility only allows entry search via Zip code and when I enter my post code it obviously doesn't accept/ recognise it.

hi Chris (et al) -- I am near Hinckley, about 10-12 miles SW of Leicester itself.

I have lived in Leics for nearly 6 yrs now, arriving from West Coast USA. Such a beautiful county!!!

Hi Liz, that's great! I started a new topic "Manchester" to see who we can attract in the area. Let's try to keep in touch and support each other on our Spark plans. It would be good to organise a ramble. I live in ideal walking country here...
I am 5'4 and my ideal goal weight is 8st3. I am currently around 9st though I was 8st 10 for a month this summer and that was great. I recently put some back on. I feel Ok about my weight right now, clearly not overweight but I'm going to see if I can keep inching down a little...

I have a stone to lose to be happy, I am not looking to be my 'ideal weight' 8 stone as I have been there previously and felt starved and ill so will be content at 9 or just under as I am 5'2" it is my usual weight til recently.
