Well, we're in Tucson at the Windmill Suites Inn and just enjoyed a free continental breakfast of Belgium Waffle, oatmeal and coffee. It was probably too much, but OH SO good!

Supposed to go to In & Out Burger for lunch. It's been so long since I've had a burger I think I've forgotten what they taste like. If the reviews can be trusted, In & Out is supposed to be the best, so I'm gonna go for it.

I'll probably need to climb one of those mountains in the distance before the day is through to burn off some of these calories!

Totally forgot about the scrambled eggs & toast. Dang! Having more protein for breakfast would have undoubtedly helped me stay away from the bagels, cream cheese, & Mexican wedding cookies I had for lunch. Oh bother!

My grandmother, who is originally from Germany and a big-time healthy eater, introduced this to me last summer...since then, I usually eat this breakfast 6 out of 7 days. I switch up which fruit to top it with (or eat the fruit plain) to keep it interesting. I always drink at least 1 cup of water and a cup of coffee to round it all off. I find this seriously fills me up until lunch - tons of fiber!

1/2C Fiber One (original)
1T chopped walnuts
1T raisins
1T sunflower seeds
1T roasted (unsalted) soynuts
1T wheat germ
1/2C skim milk
1 banana or apple or pear

Today, I used a banana....and the numbers:
380 calories 74 carbs 12 fat 14 protein
