Good morning emoticon

Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving day!
I only went off plan with a small serving of sweet potato, 1 roll and a piece of pumpkin pie. I am not mad about that at all! I had a MF meal before I went and honestly, I didn't get hungry at all later in the day. I made myself eat another MF meal before bed anyway. I estimated my calories for the day, and while I'm sure I was over in both calories and carbs, I don't think it was too bad! So much better than what I usually eat on a Holiday!

You can do it Kat emoticon

Have a great weekend y'all! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi all emoticon

Busy day, had my g-baby (he's 9) all day since school is on break. We had a blast! Put up the Christmas tree, golfed in the yard, played chase, baked cupcakes and watched a Christmas movie (Elf for about the 50th time! Lol) I am pooped! I can't wait to do it again tomorrow emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon 2.2 for the week emoticon

Probably won't be posting until after Thanksgiving so I hope you all will have a wonderful day. I am beyond thankful for this beautiful life I'm living!

V - I really don't like spending the time putting up Christmas - so as long as all the lights work, I've got it down to taking only a few hours. I have hooks all in place and tree still decorated and stored in a closet (It is only about 3' with miniature everything) When the lights start failing - I will be screwed...hopefully doesn't happen until I retire from my day job because then I will have more time to re-do everything!! I do enjoy it - yet I'm not around much to enjoy - but unfortunately that may change as my night client is trying to find cheaper alternatives to our caregiving company - then I'll be screwed too (financially)

Sounds like you two have some great plans in place. I have 2 Thanksgivingís one for my husbands side of family, and one for mine at our home this year. I donít struggle with food in front of me or baking it. I do it all the time, I make birthday cakes, and meals every day and donít eat them, n0t even lick the batter, so I know I can stay on plan. Iím actually okay with it, like I said the only thing I miss is rolls...lol!

Kat, I already have Christmas out haha! I want to enjoy it longer than a month, so I usually get it out before Thanksgiving for fun. So enjoy putting yours out, and pulling out clothes that are fitting you now, yay!

Good plan Belle - Christmas Eve I usually spend along and have a spread - usually some sausage and cheese (no crackers), shrimp and that will probably be all this year (but add in the cocktails!!). For family Christmas I usually bring kind of the same so I know I have things that I can have and sometimes sample what others bring. I am hopeful as I got through it fairly well last year.

Thanksgiving is a huge family blow out here! Everyone brings something and we swap up whose house we go to. I'm not hosting this year (I'm doing a family Christmas party). I plan to have a small taste of anything I want but eat fuelings the rest of the day. I don't plan to take home any leftovers so... no temptations for later! I'm going to do the same for Christmas. I'm feeling pretty confident that it won't throw me off plan. I've successfully handled vaycay and other events this way and I think I've finally figured out that it's not that big of deal if I get right back on plan. This may be the one single thing that I've learned that will help me keep the weight off this time for good!

Me personally for Thanksgiving, I work all my night shifts; but I will be cleaning my house and going through stuff to get rid of...this year includes clothes so I can bring out ones that I haven't worn for a few years - almost like a new wardrobe again. Since Thanksgiving is so late; I am also going to start putting up Christmas because the next 2 weekends are booked - it is a little earlier than I normally do but need to do it while I have the time. As for food, I had planned last year after making a bunch of turkey soup and freezing the skin and dark meat; I was going to have that since I thought I would be back on keto by now - but that isn't going to work. I have a bunch of frozen caulflour stuff that I bought to try - I'll maybe do something with that; or I'll just stay on plan and focus on my cleaning. I don't go to my sis because she always has my BIL family over and gets too overwhelming for me - I'm better off spending time with my dog as this could very well be her last.

Hello all, sorry Iíve been mia, Iíve just been super busy with work, and life, and extras that have me totally overwhelmed! I have stayed on plan though, and Iím down almost 49 lbs now, yay!

Kat, yay you! Wow 75 lbs is amazing!! So proud of you! emoticon emoticon

Future, Iím with you, my body is changing so much, and I need to work on building muscle especially since Iím losing it, and itís my number one support since my ligaments and joints are defective. I need to start on that this week.

Belle, yay for still losing and enjoying yourself, so important!

What is everyoneís plan to enjoy Thanksgiving and stay on plan?

For me, Iíll make a great green salad, beans with bacon, and the turkey. Iím also planning on making a MF mashed potatoes so I feel like Iím still having what everyone else is having lol! Iíll probably enjoy my SF Jello with light whip cream. Iíve done this in the past, even when I wasnít wanting to lose, and it feels good to be guilt free and enjoy everyoneís company too. emoticon emoticon The only thing I miss is warm rolls with butter, but I truly love the way I look now, I love how comfortable I am in my own skin again, less self conscious than I was, not afraid to talk to people face to face, love wearing certain clothes again, and my thighs not rubbing together so much..lol!

We are worth it, we can do it!! emoticon

Officially made it to 75 pounds down today - which was real important as I started the program 1 year ago today - and 2 years since my mom died. Ideally I would like another 15 off by end of year but at this point I will settle for 5.

It's been very chilly down here in Middle Georgia this past week!

I've been loving the Orchard Apple & Cinnamon Spiced Oatmeal for breakfast. This one really makes me feel full and sticks with me a good 3 hours.

Stay warm y'all and enjoy the weekend!

Thanks Cas and you are doing amazing too - we all are!! And yes, I have looked back to where I was a year ago and feel sooo much better; and I hear what your saying...when I was this weight back when I lived in CO; the fat was all in appropriate places - now not so much and I have so much saggy skin that will never go away - even with exercise. Age sucks sometimes!!

Kat! emoticon You have done an amaizing job! All your hard work has paid off! I know when you focus on the goal sometimes all you see is the goal. I hope you are taking time to look back and acknowledge what a truly remarkable change it is that you have made. Well Done!

Belle emoticon Your consistency, even with the little vacation breaks, has definitely paid off! You must be feeling great!

V emoticon Not only did you do it once ~ you have done it again! You are proof that everything is possible! That is works when you work it! You are working it!

I am moving into my last week of work before a very needed holiday break. Because I have added the working out back in, at about 5 days a week, I am seeing very different changes in my body. Mostly in the texture and shape of the fat that is still remaining. I feel like all my weight has a purpose on my frame and is not just "covering up" and surrounding my body.

I still need to lose more. But now it looks more like 25 pounds instead of 35.

My first attempt at MF got me down 73 pounds ~ very lean ~ but not very strong? muscular? healthy? moving into older age?

Anyway more to come! But Holidays first!

Hi Everyone! Great job Kat! Youíre doing great!!

Belle, thanks for the ideas, I need to change it up for sure. I actually found a food truck today that does keto dishes, I didnít get anything, but it was interesting that more and more places are finally getting smart to give us healthier options. I need to make my pizza crusts again, I did enjoy them.

Hope you all have a great weekend! emoticon

I also changed my goal weight from less than 120 to 124...that way I have about 5 pounds to played with either way...plus it makes my tracker look better because I may make 3/4 of the way by end of the year...my revised goals.

Yep V, a loss is a loss!

We're just now starting to get the cooler weather, it never gets too cold here in the south east. We will get a little bit of freezing weather but not too many days in row. January in our coldest month with a 33 average overnight temp. It always warms up during the day. I hate that the weather causes flare ups for you emoticon

As far as L & G's go, how about some cauliflower pizza, a thick veggie soup, pulled chicken on cloud bread, zucchini lasagna, spaghetti squash and marinara. All of these are a little more time consuming to make but not hard. Maybe you could batch cook a few things to keep on hand for when you're bored. I mostly eat chicken and salad so when I get bored I have the hubs grill a really great cut of steak or some nice thick chops, sometimes it might be a few more calories but carb wise not at all. At least once a week I do cauliflower pizza too, it's one of my favorites. Hang in there chicky!

It has been cold here in the mountain west, brr! I hate that is causes so much inner bone pain for me, and flares up my MS, and other issues, but Iíll push through.

Iím doing good food wise, made egg beaters tonight, kind of blah to me, but Iíve eaten so much salad lately I needed a break.

Can you believe it's November!! We are having our first cold morning, it was 39 here this morning! I think the high is going to be 61. We had 80+ degrees all of October....lol I'm loving the cool weather this morning. The sky is so blue too. It makes me want to get outside and do something. The hubs just finished building a greenhouse last week so I may go ahead and move my ferns and a few more porch plants in there. Hope you all have a great weekend!
