I started taking this when I watched a YouTube video about its effects. I was going skiing and it is suppose to help with altitude fatigue. Best thing about it is it helps with erectile dysfunction too. I took it at night once and woke up with wood like I was 20.

i agree shop for a new chiro.. even if it's herbal.. it's STILL a med.. and i hate regular dr's that are pushy with meds.. the only thing my Chiro suggested i take for my IT band is Cumin.. it's a spice that reduces inflammation.. Darned if it really works for me.. but i have alot of cumin in my diet just from the foods i cook too.. So hey.. i'm good with it.

The only problem is my insurance won't pay for another new patient visit to a chiro for 3 years

Bobbie I think I would be shopping for a new chiro. Mine doesn't even push follow up visits, let alone products. When I schedule a return visit, he always reminds me that if I am pain free by the time the next visit rolls around I should cancel the appointment and come back if/when I have an issue.

Good luck!

Mary

Each week he is trying to get me to buy something different..first is was some Shaklee products, now it is this Cataplex E2

I was OK with the suggestion of drinking the sports drinks because my family dr also said that I need the electrolytes with all the sweating that I am doing

But I am beginning to feel like its a sales visit

My chiro sells the Standard Process line too. She never pushed me to buy anything. I ran out of my multi vitamin last week, so I decided to try the Catalyn now. Figured it was a big step up from my Flintstones vitamins!

One of the reasons I LOVE my chiropractor is that he NEVER tries to sell me anything. That would worry me.

As a nurse I am leery of anything that messes with the heart/oxygenation etc, even herbal and natural products. Digoxin, a powerful prescription heart medication, is derived from the foxglove plant, so technically it could be considered 'herbal,' but it kill anyone who takes it incorrectly. Many herbal/natural substances are very much medications.

I personally would avoid the cataplex supplements...but granted I am extremely conservative!

My chiro sells the Standard Process Line of vitamins, etc and has told me all about them (beacuase I asked) but he has never tried to push them on me.

Not sure if it would help for what you are being told.

My chiropractor is trying to push this stuff on me...he says that it will increase oxygen to my muscles to help me go further and recover faster.

The info he gave me says its for angina pectoris, muscle fatigue, tissue oxygen starvation, aerobic type exercise, and high altitude discomfort.

Has anyone tried this? And if so what is your take on it?
