43min of Turbo Fire this morning, 1hr power walking at lunch today, and this evening will be 1hr barbell class, 30min of weight machines, and 30min Core class at the gym.

I know I should do more but I have to walk an hour from the bus stop to go home I consider that a workout for now until I get my bike. Commuting = workout no extra time to schedule working out.

We did a 3 day weekend to south texas. Thur, Fri and today we did 10K walks.

I feel like I've been doing well with the fitness side of this. I make a point to sit down at the beginning of each week and schedule what classes I'm going to take at the gym each day. It makes it much easier to stick to.

I've been doing pretty well with eating, but I need to improve. This week I am committing to tracking ALL food & getting at least 64 oz of water a day.

Intense workout today! 30 minutes on the cybex, 15 on the treadmill, then a 1 hour barbell strength class. I was intimidated by the barbell class at first, but I love it now. So if there's a workout or class you are interested in but unsure about, go for it! The worst that can happen is you realize you need to work up to that level before trying the class again.

I joined a gym a week ago. I've been pretty dedicated to going 5 out of 8 days. Today I went to the gym when I woke up. No slugging around the house today, Sunday. I joined SparkPeople last May, 2012. Obviously I'm a turtle at getting motivated. But school is back in session, kids back in school and now I can devote more time to myself! emoticon

well, I guess you can say I did a work out on Saturday night at the frank erwin center. LOL walking up and down those darn stairs. and at the parking garage. We had a fabolous time watching Tom Petty and the heart brakers. I need to get back on the ball though. haven't really done any exercising in the last 2 and half weeks. Just being lazy. starting again on Friday. Why Friday and not tomorrow. Well tomorrow I have a denatl appointment gettng 3 teeth worked on and I won't be any shape to do anything. I am big baby and I don't have a high threshold for pain. I will however, have to deal with the family and not hide in a hole all day. wish me good luck with both the dentist and the family.
