I did the color run last weekend with my grandson. I think that will be it for now. Too much on my plate at work and home.

I had my race weekend already this month and walk daily. I am watching for those last minute races so that maybe I can add another one with the work schedule =)

The holiday season can be very busy and stressful. Taking a daily walk, going for a weekday run, yoga or no-impact exercise can help maintain your physical conditioning that your worked all year to develop.

Fun ways to share a bit of the outdoors with family and friends is to go on a holiday walk or run event, like a Reindeer Run or Jingle Bells Run. Maybe there's a Trail of Lights near you, or one for a charity.

Or, why not gather the kids and willing adults together for your own informal trail event in your neighborhood park.

Our older son and his GF are bringing my grandson here and I'm organizing a small family trail walk/run for Christmas. I'd love to do it as a pajama run, depending upon the weather.

How about you, are you planning any holiday walks or runs?
