Managed to run all the way (thanks to my friend!) and we finished in 1 hr 15 mins which is faster than I'd anticipated. So I'm happy!

First congrats and enjoy the race! Smile, have fun! The night before races I tend to eat a low fat carb meal that is easy on my stomach. I don't try anything new. I eat a very light breakfast about 1.5 hours before the race (creamy peanutbutter toast) and a cup of black coffee. Use the facilities and then have a great race!
