Check out the August Prevention. There is a article on Aging Beautifully by a woman who was a ballerina and a model when younger. Now, she is a psychologist who specializes on women going through life transitions and aging. She has some great thoughts in the article and has written a book on the subject.

One of the things she talks about is not getting stuck in how we used to look or be. But, to embrace who we are now and make ourselves everything we can be now. She is all for being fit, but she admits that we might have to revise what it means to be in shape or being fit. She talks about being confident and beautiful now, regardless of our age or body shape. Great article. Actually the issue is filled with some very good articles about aging and being beautiful now.

I was wondering about some of your thoughts about aging and what does it mean to age beautifully. For me it means taking care of myself and my appearance now. Being confident in who I am and being as fit as possible.
