Greetings, Divas!! IT's FALL!!! It's a GREAT time of year to set fitness goals before we get to the holiday season. It's great to make your goals fitness based too, as something you can control, rather than setting a goal for a specific amount of weight to lose.. Weight loss is always so variable, up and down, it can be discouraging when weight is the tracked goal.

It's better to set goals for eating--like eliminating sugar, or staying under a certain number of calories, or sticking to your plan 15 out of 21 meals for the week, etc. OR to set goals for fitness.. like what kinds of exercise you'll do and how often.

By choosing goals you are able to control, you can feel more successful when you do what you've said you'll do. When you say you'll lose two pounds, but end up with water weight or monthly cycle fluctuations, it can make you feel successsful when you're off track, or make you feel discouraged even though you've stuck to your plan!

IF you set goals you can control, and you stick to those goals the majority of the time, you WILL make progress with your health and weight!

SO, Chime in.. What kind of goal can you control, and will you set for yourself??
Let's have a FABULOUS FALL together!

MY GOAL: Strength train 3x/week and Walk more than 30 minutes EVERY day (aiming for an hour of walking on NON-strength training days.)

"Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." -Psalm 37:5-6
