Thank you -- I'll check it out.

There is no such thing as the final success in life. What is really meaningful is the courage to face the next minute, the next hour, the next day.

More than once I have heard men saying they like the 5x5 program. You may want to look into it.

I'm in a stressful period so the one thing I liked about NROL was the workouts being developed for me and nice workout logs. Just as tracking food motivates me, logging workouts does too.

I was surprised the author didn't make a recommendation in his own book.

I would take what I learned in the program and user it to build my own routines. Based on goals.

Iron Crone, I love it. I'm one of those too.

What are your goals? Strength, shape, a little of both? You could build your own custom program focusing on areas you want to work on, for instance back and leg strength.

I began weightlifting in November using the book The New Rules of Weightlifting for Women. It has 7 stages and I'm starting Stage 7.

What would you recommend next?

PS: I am not an Iron "maiden"; I am an Iron "crone" -- I am in my 60's.
Still working on deadlifting more than 60 and doing squats where my knees actually get to 90 degrees.
