I used to live off fast food and sugar. I know it was a horrible diet. I'm sure the sugar was disastrous for my hair. I gave up sugar a year ago and am in the process of giving up gluten (I have bad reactions) but maybe I should look into how to increase insulin sensitivity. Maybe that would help.

Try Biotin, a B Vitamin. It has helped my hair growth, a lot.

I also have hair loss. I don't think its from the weight training. I think it's from hormone imbalance and possibly insulin resistance (at least in my case).
I also am trying to bounce back from years of unhealthy diet and soon gonna hit menopause. The high sugar snacks can cause insulin resistance as well.
Keep weight training!

I seem to have a problem with hair loss. I'm not sure if it's caused by years and years of eating a highly processed high sugar diet, from years of lack of exercise, from genetics, or from the fact that I ate a lot of gluten and I'm intolerant. Anyhow, I'm trying the best I can now to change my ways to try to grow back as much hair as possible. I've read about weight training being linked to hair loss and I was wondering if anyone had ever noticed this being a problem for them?
