Oh, I'm 45 and you're scaring me.

We drew a circle that took him in!

I do better when I bring my carbs just under what Spark suggests for me, and my proteins on the higher end. As we age many of us women seem to lose better with lower carbs.

It really does get harder to get rid of. Doesn't it!
Im 46 and have really noticed how much harder it is to keep trim.
I've had to lower carbs, fat and get rid of sugar completely. Its still a struggle!!! emoticon

Hi ladies,
I am 52, and long time fitness enthusiast. Love weightlifting. I had taken a hiatus from sparkpeople for awhile, busy with teenage sons, work, etc...
My pics are from about 5 years ago... I have put on some weight since then. Not a terrible amount, just do not like the trend I am seeing!

Have noticed the weight creeping up. It seems much harder to get rid of, now that I have hit my 50's. Has anyone else found this to be true?

What secrets of success would anyone like to share re: losing the weight in your 50's.

I'm ready to get serious about this. I know I need to cut calories, exercise either more time or more vigorously. Have difficulty with late night snacking, which I need to curb.

I guess what I really need is willpower, and realizing I can't keep doing the same things I've been doing and expect different results. Ha!

Anyway, good to be back.

Blessings!
Sue
