I just went back to check my April goals. I was rather vague. I had put continue to exercise and eat better. I would say I did 100% on the exercise and maybe 75% on the eating. I'd better make clearer goals next month!

April goals:

1: 30 minute walk daily (missed 1 so far)
2: eat fresh fruit daily (yes, so far)
3: get trail run quilts cut out (done)
4: stay healthy (yes, so far)

We would love to be outside working, but mom can't take the "cold" (anything below 70 is cold to her). I did get my walk in and my fruits. Also made progress on the trail run quilts, so it's all good.

Bev--eventually you will get back to your routine. It is so nice that you are helping your mom. I'm sure she appreciates having a daughter like you!

We are a bit off track with this change in routine and stress that comes with it too. I guess we just do the best we can and know that better days will be ahead.

Yup, you eat it. She told me she doesn't like "good for you" foods. I'll go home maybe this weekend, then come back next week. Depends on how much we get done this week.

I have found two bright line eating members on facebook that I am starting to try and go back on the plan. I have veered too far off into sugar and flour and I need to stop this. Both live in England so the time difference is interesting. But they both seem like my kind of people. Carol

Just found out that I can get in to see the acupuncturist for "mental health". Seriously, I've been so low energy. There are days when I really don't want to get out of bed. (Today it was noon.)

Thankful for the Team's suggestions of walking at least 20 min EVERY day + 2 fruits. It just seems to be doable...during a time when most things feel overwhelming.
