Very nice job IZZY911, when I went to my Dr last Wed for my 6 mo check-up, he said I did what million of people haven't been able to do since the Virus hit, I asked him " what is that?', he said I lost a pound....woo hoo I'll take it, now to get serious though and really lose some weight...

emoticon IZZY911, I had a Dr. appt yesterday and when I was waiting for the Doc to come in, they had a scale in the room, so me being the nosy person I am, stepped on it, and it was 14 pounds off, to the good side....LOL so when I got up this morning, I grabbed an old scale my father had, I had it hidden in one of the backrooms, anyway when I stepped on it, it was 4 lb difference (again on the good side) from my weight watchers scale that i've been using. I think I'll keep my father's old scale....LOL

Since I have increased my fat consumption, cut out sugars and have gone very low carb my cravings have basically stopped. I can watch my husband eat a bowl of ice cream and it doesn't even phase me anymore.

gained this week - bought ice cream for family coming over - they cancelled so guess who ate the half gallon of icecream. Improvement; at least I didn't eat it all that evening, but I should have never had in my house to begin with because I know it is an issue at this time in my life.

Lay on the floor, on your back, with your legs up the wall. So good for the lymphatic system. You can start with your bum further away from the wall and slowly work up to getting your bum closer to the wall. So good for you even for 5 minutes.

Yes, I'm doing a 31 day weight loss. fitness challenge from Pahla B's video, she talks about weight loss at 50 & 60's years of age, when she said "your body will change when IT wants to, not when you want it to", finally it made sense and I stop stressing about the scale and pay more attention to what I'm eating. This morning the scale is finally heading back down almost under the 200 lb mark, I've made a goal to lose 20 lbs by August. That is something doable for me. Take care, stay strong and have a great weekend. emoticon it should say we can do this!!!!

This past week was very good for me .... I'm down 5 lbs and for the first time in too many years to count I am under 200 pounds again. Still have 37 more to go to meet goal but I'm so happy with my weight loss accomplishment so far.

It might be a pound at a time, but I rationalize at how long it took to put the weight on in the first place, and just think if it will take as long to take it off. In my case, it was over 45 years of going up, I hope it will not take that long to take it off, BUT, it could happen. DRAT.

Today I entered the 170s!! emoticon Last time I seen these numbers was when I had lost weight back in 2012 and then regaining it back in 2013. Honestly, I never thought I'd see the 170s again because it's been such a struggle but I did it and I'm so happy!!

Thank you JANICEONE1. Although I still can't visit him I'm feeling much better and whole lot less terrified. He is doing well in the recovery process and hopefully will be able to come home mid-week. That will be a much needed relief.

Well this has been a good week weight loss wise ..... down 1.7 pounds. Yeah.

But awful thanks to the COVID-19 virus. I had to take my husband to the ER yesterday. He walked through the doors of the ER at 5:00 am and I haven't seen him since. Because of the hospital's virus protocols in place I wasn't allowed to go in with him. He spent two hours in the ER while I sat in the car. He called me to let me know he was going to have surgery. They removed his appendix and did a right hemicolonscopy to remove a tumor we didn't know he had. During all this I was not allowed in to see him. I understand the need for the policy, it sucks, but I understand. I probably won't be seeing him for at least 3 -5 days. So thumbs up for the weight loss, but heartbroken because I couldn't/can't be with him through this.

I'm definitely losing it slowly. But I'm o.k. with that. I'm not really making too many sacrifices. Mostly what I'm eating, portion control and no more night snacking.

I'm down 15lbs. from the start 1-1-2020. I'm only focusing on short term goals since I have a bit to lose.
