Walked all day yesterday at the craft fair and music festival

Today I got on the recumbent for 20 minutes, then did a quick spark video, still doing my steps

I didn't get a dedicated workout in yesterday, but, did help my mom in her garden and do some shopping at home depot with my sister.

I ran some quick intervals this morning before my standup call with my team. 15 minutes. I'll get some more bites like that in later.

I walked instead of drove to the thrift store to pick up some new Sunday clothes for my girl. My dogs are barking, but I feel good about it anyway.

I used to be obsessed with the strawberry acai refresher from starbucks but haven;'t had one in months since I gave up sugary drinks. I miss them so much lol. I plan on going for a walk or to the gym tonight. I will do atleast a mile! Tomorrow I have a busy day at my companies black tie gala. This is our big fundraiser of the year and all employees have to work it.

I haven't done any activity yet today, but, I did go for a long walk yesterday.
My bad knee is protesting, due to the rough ground I went over, plus the shifting weather patterns... but, it was worth it!

The carrot I dangled for the rough walk was a S'mores frappucino... with almond milk so I could still justify the marshmallow whipped cream and the crumbles on top... and, according to my heart rate monitor, I burned more calories than the drink had in it. ~pats self on back~
(I'm really grateful I had the forethought and self-restraint to save all my starbucks rewards and balance for a time I might need a little pampering.)

Yeah I am gonna try to get back this Saturday although I have a huge work event I have to get ready for so not sure if I will make it. I WAS gonna come on here and tell yall how I haven't had much time to be active because work and school have been hectic then I told myself did you reeeeally not have time or have you been lazy? I decided it was laziness that kept me from the gym this week.

I've never tried water aerobics, though my grandpa swore by them (he had to stay in shape for the half a dozen bowling leagues he was on).

VA, lol you crack me up1 Glad you kept up with it!

Miss- no worries I will keep going to the gym and losing weight til I can get one with a higher weight limit or lose the weight ;)

I went to water aerobics on Saturday and holy cow I was not expecting it to be an actual workout! I could feel the burn! I will be getting back to the actual gym today for some treadmill time.

Zen, ah yeah, I'd forgotten that from when I'd first bookmarked it like two years ago after a referral from a friend, that I couldn't buy it at the time because of that.

I ultimately got a treadmill whose weight limit I exceeded, but, I just walked on it and didn't start going fast on it until I'd dropped enough weight (which did take me over a year lol ~shrugs~), because the others on the reviews said that would be fine.

VA, lol, woohoo, glad they stopped whining. :)

20 minutes on the recumbent bike. My knees protested at first, but they stopped whining after the warm up. This getting old thing BITES!

Aw, hope your knee feels better soon.

I got to use my new rowing machine last night!!! Managed to get my heart rate up pretty quickly. I can feel it in my chest and arms and back today (which is exactly what I wanted).

Yesterday's field trip had a ton of stairs and this morning I am feeling it. My knee is screaming at me. So today, it's house cleaning, moderate activity. I'm counting it because I don't think I can get much else done

You are rocking it! Way to go! I almost died on my walk yesterday it was 95 degrees out but I survived! Now I feel pumped to keep going!

Did my treadmill for 10 minutes. But, then took 2 walks down the bluffs to check on the water levels rising. Steep hills when you come back up them.

Had my soon-to-be-ex-husband, the trim ex-runner with me on the first one and he was huffing and puffing and not keeping up with me.
On the other one, I had my tiny gym-bunny friend, and while she kept up, she was breathing heavy.

I know my only competition is myself, but, these two used to be able to easily outpace me and have to stand around waiting while I caught up, so I am pretty proud of my progress.

16,000 steps for the day, which is pretty high for me, I'm lucky to make 10,000 most days.
