I gave this a lot of thought. I have always had trouble with this. I own my own company in health care and am on call 24/7. I have a family and animals to care for and things can get crazy for me. So I try to pick a day when I can do some cooking and then I divide it all up into portions. That way I can eat on the go and make sure that my calories are on track. This also helps me to avoid stopping at a fast food place too often. It's not a perfect system but it can really help those of us that are always running.

First, you are doing great with your weight-loss! YOu and I share the same concern, that my our bodies will think we are starving, thusly making the weight-loss even more difficult. It is going to take a while for me to get this, I think! I cannot wait to read the suggestions!

I'm glad you posted this, cause I'm always half of the calories they say I should eat ! I started to eat breakfast and make sure I eat breakfast. I usually only eat a fruit or a little bit of veggies for lunch and then a small diner. I just can't get in the amount that they say I should be eating. I don't want my body to think I'm not eating cause then it will go into a different mode and I won't lose weight ! I can't wait to see some suggestions here

I am a very busy mom. If I am not working on my studies, I am cleaning the house, running errands, taking my daughter back and forth to school, going to the gym, and various church activities. I used to eat when I had a chance, and then would eat WAAAAAY to much. Now, that I am being conscious of what I put in my mouth, when it comes time to tracking calories, I am falling anywhere from 200-500 calories short/day. But the thing is, my appetite is just not what it was. Any tips on how to ensure I am eating the necessary calories? emoticon
