Good morning, Peoples. How are you? Me and the guy had breakfast around five o'clock this morning-and what I had was a Burger King bacon, egg, and cheese croissain't and a SMALL hashbrowns. Now I emphasize the "small" because I freaking love their hashbrowns. I could easily eat a large-no problem, and I could have afforded one, monetarily speaking, but I chose the small. Because I did, my s/o did too. :D Lead by example!
Kegan, my mancub, had a fever of 101 yesterday. It still isn't enough to merit taking a pain and fever-reducer, since he's not in pain. If he has a fever of 102 or less and he isn't in pain, I want the fever to do what it is meant to do. If he still has a fever tomorrow morning, I will make a doctor's appt for him or just take him to urgent care if I can't get him in tomorrow. My thinking it is just a cold, but my daughter Lakeiah had PNEUMONIA in August and her only symptom was chest pain and a fever of 102.5! She wasn't coughing at all. Kegan right now has a really deep cough, but it's breaking up. I just want to make sure it isn't bronchitis. EVERY TIME we've taken him to the doctor or the hospital because of the same cough-it's been viral-which on one hand is good that he's never needed an anti-biotic, but on the other, is frustrating because there isn't much you can do except for homeopathic treatments and cough medicine for a cold. I've taken him in the bathroom when it sounds dry so he can breathe in the steam from a hot shower for about five minutes. I have an albuterol inhaler for him-but that's almost gone. I give him 1 teaspoon of robitussin. I know they don't recommend it because of whatever-but I was giving my daughter consideribly less than the adult dose-like 1/4 of it-when she was younger and had colds, and it REALLY makes a difference! I have enough common sense to not give my children an adult-sized dose of any medicine!
