I want to feel good when I look in the mirror or have a picture taken
I want my husband to look at me and tell me I am beautiful and really feel like it is the truth
i want to shop for clothes and just be able to pick it up and buy it without having to try it on like I used to be able to do
Not feel so self consciuos when I am naked or always trying to make sure my husband doesn't touch my stomach

I am sure mine will change with time (it's a woman's right to change her mind after all hahaha) but here are mine at this moment in time.


* I want to feel pretty in pictures....I always feel like I am the huge pink elephant in the pictures right now.

* I want to be able to go back to Illinois and go for a run with a friend of mine who runs marathons.

* I want to be able to live without worries over how my weight affects my back injuries and my Rheumatoid Arthritis.

* I want to learn how to swim.

* I want to go out and not have people treat me like I have the pleague because I am heavy......I really hate the looks people give me.....like I'm fat cause I eat to much....through SP I'm finding I don't eat enough actually.

* I would also like to have the loose skin on my tummy removed.....as I loose and tone up my tummy is reminding me of the children's book "Saggy Baggy Elephant" because of the loose skin.

I want at least one item on my bucket list to be able to dance with the team that I volunteer with. My dancers all ask me when I am going to join them and I wish I could but I get so winded and my calves and shins start to seize up and I just give up. Another would be to just look fabulous and have people tell me that they notice the weight loss.

I want to be able to play on the ground longer with my niece, without getting tired and without feeling self-conscious that my big 'ol hiney is sticking up in the air or something!

I want to sky dive. I had a chance to do it a few years ago but my son freaked out & made me promise I wouldn't. Once they are all grown I'm jumping. I also want to visit Paris & Italy (several areas).

Great topic!

Here are a few of my weight loss bucket list items:
* Be able to go into any store for clothes shopping and not worry if they carry plus sizes.
* Go on any roller coaster without stressing if I will fit up until the last second when the harness locks into place. I'm going to Disney World and Universal Orlando later this year, I don't want to worry about that at all!
* Go parasailing - my friends went, and I was the only one who stayed in the boat and watched because I was too ashamed to ask the weight limit for doing it and afraid I'd be over that limit!
* Go kayaking more often. I love to do it, but I need to be in better shape. And I'd love to fit better into the kayak and also get out of the kayak a bit more gracefully. emoticon
* Post my photo to do online dating. I feel like I can't compete with the thinner women.

I live 15 minutes from the beaches in SC. I want to walk on the beach with my husband in a long white sun dress.

174 will put me at overweight, but not obese!!!

1. Wear a bathing suit without a coverup and feel confident.
2. Wear lingerie without feeling like a walrus. (I want to feel sexy.)
3. My husband has told me one time I was beautiful when we first got married. I really want to hear him say it again.
4. Wear a dress. (I'm still not here, yet. My legs are too big!)
5. Be able to wear yoga pants and a sports bra to the gym.

Have a normal bathroom towel fit all the way around my body withOUT there being a gap because I'm too big.

I'm new to this whole thing, but this topic is really inspiring! Thanks for initiating and thanks to everyone for sharing and being so open!

My list would be:
1. Wear a bikini...and look good
2. Feel confident dating
3. Not feel like a hypocrite at my job everyday (I work in public health, counseling people about how to be healthier)

That would just be amazing!

Here are a few of the things I want to do:
1. Feel sexy naked (or in lingerie)
2. wear something sleeveless
3. not worry about being too big for amusement park rides
4. not be embarrassed anymore about how I look

I'm new to SP, and am hoping that this list will help keep me motivated. Here's my list (so far):

- Ride my bicycle along Hwy 101 (the coast highway) in Oregon
- Go on a helicopter trip in Hawaii
- Zipline in Hawaii (or other similarly gorgeous location)
- Fly on airplanes comfortably
- Kayak a river
- Shop at Banana Republic, J.Crew, or other similar shop
- Learn to surf
- Complete a triathlon

I love to go to carlsbad caverns and walk the caves. I would love to go Spelunking and would have to do this when I get down to my goal weight.

One thing has been percolating in my mind for a few weeks now: I want to complete in a half marathon, someplace fun - like the Las Vegas marathon/half marathon or the Disney Princess one.

On my one year Sparkaversary (Dec. 29 - yay!) I am going to sit down and really come up with new immediate and long term goals and desires.

- Sky dive again without worrying, I'm past the weight limit
- Wear a dress without having somebody asking me my due date
- I've never worn a bikini, so for giggles, that would be a first
- Have a real family photo that I'm not hiding behind everybody hiding my body
- A pinup photo shoot, THANK YOU Alannayh!
- Go to Wolf Lodge or the other water park with my kids
- Hell, just getting in a swimsuit would be a long time coming
- Bounce a ping pong ball off my rock solid abs (jk, well, sort of)

I want to compete in an Urbanathon. I want to run through the mud and the muck and climb things and have the best time with a crazy group of friends.

Yesterday I was watching my recording of the Biggest Loser Thanksgiving special and saw how Tara had competed in the Ironman Triathalon. I'm going to work toward any triathalon, but could definitely see adding the Ironman to the bucket list.

Start: 286 (6/5/10)
Previous Lowest: 222 (8/31/08)

Goals:
Next Milestone: 222 -12/21/10 reached
Then: 220 by Christmas 2010 (reached 12/31/10)
Then: 207 (reached 2/12/11)
Then: 200 (reached 3/1/2011)
Final: 180 (reached 4/23/2011) - 173 reached on 4/30/11
Currently in reevaluation stage as to next goal

(fit into a medium again - goal reached 2/17/11!!!)

I want to hike the Appalachian Trail, from start to end. Of course that will also require a lot of financial resources and an understanding employer as it would take aout 5 months to do, but the first step is being physically able to do so.

I want to be a hiker of not just the easy trails, but I want to do the really difficult trails. I want to go camping and hiking and become a real outside person. I want to try rock climbing. I want to try sky diving. I want to travel to the world to do active things like 5Ks, marathons, walk-a-thons, hiking, camping, rock & mountain climbing, skiing. I want to do all those things that as a fat girl you just sit and think that that's not for you. And I want to be in pictures without feeling self concious about how I look.

Oh! I just realized a few more! A couple things i want to do that aren't active-related but body related. I want a tummy tuck. I'm not big into plastic surgery, but my kids did a number on my stomach when I was pregnant, and when I'm thin again, I want my stomach to at least not be saggy baggy! I'd also love to do that laser hair removal thing under my arms. My sis-in-law did this and never has to shave anymore, and I'm so jealous. :D

I love this idea. When I initially lost weight, I completed several 5ks, a couple 10ks & was training for a half marathon when I fell ill. So as I regain my health, I would love to finish what i started. I'd also like to swim - with a real swimsuit & no shorts covering my thighs! Once I can do this, I'd love to do a tri. I would also like to take an Adult Modern Dance class. Oh my, my mind is racing with ideas. I may be back to post more. More importantly though, I am going to print this list and hang it on my refrigerator & treadmill for motivation!

Ooh, I have to think about it, I never put it in those terms before. My list, in no particular order, would contain running a marathon, earning my black belt, completing a triathlon. There's more but I will have to think about it some more.

I have a regular bucket list and there are some things on there, but i never thought about doing a weight loss one! here are some items that would be on it, though: going ziplining, going on a swing again, running a full 5K, doing a triathlon, tandem skydiving. I'll have to come up with some more. :D

New member MICHELLEM145 posted a blog about what she wanted to accomplish with her weight loss goals, and she called it her weight loss bucket list. That was such a huge "a ha!" moment for me. The things we want to do *really* are bucket list items - they are that important, life changing, and fulfilling!

What's on your weight loss bucket list? I'm going to sit down and come up with my own bucket list to update my wishes and desires as I begn to head into Year Two of my Spark journey.
