I don't know. I am really struggling - I haven't lost anything since December. Right now I am focused more on health and fitness, having some faith that it will lead to weight loss at some point. I get discouraged otherwise.

I always believe I can, for me its more a matter of how long it'll take. So for me the easiest way is to set little goals like for right now getting under the 200 mark, then next will be to get comfortably into a size 14, then so on like that.

I used to think so but now I just don't know what my goal is anymore... Do I want to weigh less or do I want to be fit and healthy? Because my body doesn't seem to want to be both... Still a work in progress

At times it's hard to imagine myself skinny but when I look in the mirror I can see the subtle changes happening and I think to myself that's it's gonna happen if I just keep going and not worry about the scale.

Yes, I am sure I can get there. Only 4 more lbs to go. I just have to be patient and stop the mindless snacking.

First Goal: Loose 27 lbs by December 1, 2009 - GOAL MET NOVEMBER 6, 2009!

Second Goal: Loose 57 lbs by June 1, 2010... GOAL MET APRIL 3, 2010!

Third Goal: Loose 60 lbs... GOAL MET APRIL 24, 2010!

Forth Goal: Loose the 35 lbs I gained due to surgery and chemo!

Fifth Goal: Never have to make another weight loss goal!

Although I haven't been under 130 since I was 22 (10 years ago!), I know I can do it if I stay consistent, put the work in and believe that I can!

I know I can get within 5 pounds of my goal, because I've been there as recently as 2007. So, it *should* be possible, but I'm also aware that haven't seen the 130s since high school. I am more worried about maintenance because I've been lousy at it in the past. But, every time I lose, I learn. Maybe this time I'll finally master maintenance.

Actually, I think Spark really sets you up well to be able to maintain, since it's really more about healthy habits. I lost 40 lbs with Spark about two years ago and I haven't really had much trouble keeping it off.

Do you believe you can reach your goal? This is actually another rookie marathon mistake that I think applies equally to weight loss.

I have to admit I have a hard time imaging actually weighing my goal weight. But, I do know that I can loose more weight, so right now I'm trying to focus on shorter term goals, like getting under the 200 lb mark.
