I did - I made it to Curves this morning. Funny story about my trip home. I live in a large city/urban area, but we have a lot of wildlife by us. Quite common to see deer and coyotes. There is a family of wild turkeys that live in my neighborhood and I see them most mornings hanging out on the road. This morning there they were, right in the middle, so I stopped to let them finish crossing the road. Well 2 of them slowly walked across the road, but the 3rd one decided to come straight at me. I backed up about 10 feet and it ran even faster towards me. It took about 3 minutes before it walked to the side of my van so that I could get around it. Man those things are fearless (and really big!)

First Goal: Loose 27 lbs by December 1, 2009 - GOAL MET NOVEMBER 6, 2009!

Second Goal: Loose 57 lbs by June 1, 2010... GOAL MET APRIL 3, 2010!

Third Goal: Loose 60 lbs... GOAL MET APRIL 24, 2010!

Forth Goal: Loose the 35 lbs I gained due to surgery and chemo!

Fifth Goal: Never have to make another weight loss goal!

Just joined SP yesterday. Love the support on this site! I have been on a roll with exercise since I joined a CrossFit gym last month. Those workouts are killer! Today I did 5 rounds of squats to overhead press (also known as Thrusters) and pull-ups. Then did jump rope for 15 minutes. I had to stop a few times.

I did! 25 minutes of walking! I am so happy because I really had to make this a priority. I am working late this week and I just took a break and did it!

Broke my tailbone on saturday so workouts are out of the question. I cant even touch the ground and lay flat. Going on a cruise on the 22nd. Im thinking that it wont be better by then. what a drag.

I didn't get to the gym, but spent all day cleaning. I would say that's a workout.

Health first, vanity a very close second.

Weight Loss Goals/Rewards:
5 lbs - new shoes
10 lbs - 'Pretty Day'
15 lbs - white jeans
20 lbs - cosmetic procedure (not what you think!)
25 - new bikini

Sure did! 45 minutes on the treadmill. Just added jogging to my treadmill routine. It kicks my butt but I feel great afterward!

Nope--loooooooong day. At school by 6:30, baby shower and then my son has soccer practice after that. I will probably get some excercise then, chasing my 2-year old, but nothing like a scheduled workout. CONSIDERING getting up at 4am tomorrow to run--I always feel great when I do, but it's damn hard to get out of bed that early. emoticon emoticon

I worked out today to the Jillian Michael's cardio blast dvd. It is a 45 minute work out! I felt really good about working out, but I am still not finding the strength to quite eating the way I have been! I start out the day doing really well and then I fail! I have got to learn to trust in baby steps to get me to the final prize.

no exercise. I cleaned house all day. Was on my feet all day so didn't feel like the exercise tonight. That is how it starts though I have to watch myself skipping.

Yup! I did day 3 of the 30-day Shred. I am planning on doing it for as many consecutive days as I possibly can! I'm not doing any other workouts for now, but I think I might add some more cardio eventually. I can't wait for it to get warmer out...it's freezing out today (-30C with the windchill factor - that's -22F) so that I can start walking outside at lunchtime.

YES! I did & feel great! I started a new exercise routine today and I'm feelin' really good about it. Realistically, I know I can stick to this and I'm so happy & thrilled I did it. I used some of the same techniques I've used in the past when I've successfully lost weight and toned up - so I know this routine works for me - as for it has in the past. I record workouts on Fit t.v. on my DVR & make sure I do atleast 2 of them a day - what's cool is, it's rarely ever the same thing, so it keeps me interested on what type of workout I'm doing today - it keeps me interested, it's challenging because I never know what types of workouts I'll be doing that day - and for me, it's perfect, because I'm the type of person that loves to try new things, I sometimes get bored easy if it's the same routine everyday - so it keeps me interested, motivated to do it and it's fun. My 3 year old daughter tries to do it, too (it's really cute) - so, YES, I'm finally back on track! YAY! emoticon

I ran for 35 minutes (2.6 miles), then did a truncated strength training sessions. Walking lunges with 30lbs was hard, but I got through it. emoticon
