I am always sleepy when I hit the treadmill in the AM.

Good luck PATTIJOR74! Add me as a friend and I will help you if you help me.

I hit the treadmill this morning at 5:15am for 2.29 miles in 30 minutes. I start slow because I am still waking up.

Any suggestions on eating before the morning jog? Or should I just wait until after. Time is of the essence in the morning.

No. I haven't in a very long time. I have used every excuse not to. But after reading what you all have said, I feel motivated to do something. I will start walking again tomorrow.

Monday i did 30 minutes on the eliptical and 20 min weight training. Tuesday I did kickboxing for 45 min and some weight training, wed i stayed home and did 25 minutes on my eliptical machine at home, did some abs. Today I will try for a 5mile speedwalk/and some light jogging..

i started out the day with an i will work out attitude...i was motivated and everything...but i guess i was on the computer to long...or i dont know its probably an excuse...but i will work out tomorrow morning...i think i just need to start the day off at the gym...

At first the idea of working out after the day I had was unlikely. After I got done screaming at children and stressing at co-workers...it seemed like everything I said, felt or did begin to gather in my gut. After I had eaten I decided to walk some of the stress away. believe it not I have the energy and the clear thinking I should of had at 7am....

I had a great workout this morning after not doing anything for a week. I'm doing the Stew Smith program so I did strength training and cardio. I'm going for a light jog this evening just to destress from work.

I have worked out everyday for the last month, I have lost 10.5 pounds and lost 9.5 inches off my body (160 to 149.5). I have a variety of workouts ranging from treadmill, bowflex, slim N six dvd (which has been wonderful) and I ordered a body ball as well as a recumbant exercise bike. Today I did the slim N six 59 minute workout, It is awesome and fullfilling, I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm new to sparkpeople...only been on here for two weeks. But I wanted to start posting and thought what better than this topic....

Today was an abnormal day for me I walked with some friends in Luxembourg and we went 11.2 KM. When I returned home (stationed in Germany) my dog was of course expecting a walk so we went 3KM.....Nice work out today and I'm ready for bed....

yup. Went to the pool today with the kids today for an hour. Swam and treaded water. Am teaching a step aerobics class tonight as well.

This was the morning I was going to get out again since my knee has no pain. Had the alarm set and right before it went off, my three year old crawled into bed and wanted to snuggle. Since I don't have them everyday, I could not pass it up. I guess I will have to go after work and make a one block lap over and over so I can drink lots of water along the way.
