I hear you on the ego boost. when I first started a pound or 2 didn't excite me at all. But now it is like I watch for a pound at a time. And then look to see if I can tell where I lost it from.

Things are rather quiet...nothing much to talk about. It's a little hectic with me here at work. Exercise and eating right are slowly getting better...I did lose 5lbs so I can't complain...but I think most of that was because Aunt Flow decided to leave...lol, but I'll take it anyway I can.

OH fine. A friend of mine got Hip Hop Abs and I tried one of the workouts this morning. And I'm kinda sore!!! I wonder if it's really from that, or from some *ahem* PERSONAL activity last night... *waggles eyebrows* hahahahaha

I agree...they are negligent. I finally had a teacher I like and after about a month an a half-2 months he got placed with another teacher, who I don't care for. He's only been in this daycare since january and I bet he's had 7-8 different teachers...

Sounds like my husband when he had an outpatient procedure recently... hahaha! :D

THAT SUCKS about the daycare. I really hope you're able to get that resolved because that is purely negligent.

Well, the tubes thing for my son went well, he was so cute...even though he was doped up...lol...he kept kissing me, lol, and saying I love you...kinda like a real drunk, lol. The nurses kept telling him that they were going to take him home with them, and he kept telling them "no", so they's say, "well, who you going home with" and he's yell "mommy" and then he'd tell me he loved me and kiss me again...it was so sweet! When he got to his recovery room he kept yelling for me, which made me feel bad because I ran downstairs to get a startbucks coffee...mmm,mmm good! After they took him to the OR to do the procedure, it was about 6:40am...we left the hospital at 7:10am...so it wasn't long at all. We had to be thereat 5am though...which sucked for both of us. He's back in daycare today...hopefully all goes well. Ive got to have a little talk with his new teachers though...he got his new teacher last monday (may 28) and monday was the second time they had to change his clothes because he soaked through them...and I don't think its because is diapers dont fit or anything like that, when I picked him up monday we went straight to a restaurant and got a bite to eat...when we left the restaurant, he had soaked through some more clothes...they are not changing him like they should...he was even broken out a little bit...I was HOT!!! It wouldn't have been a good conversation if I would have went back to the school right then...but I am going to call the director this morning and let her know what is going on so that she can say something and she is aware...ok...im rambling...I'll talk to you all soon, I got to catch up on some emails.

he weekend wasn't great...my cousin decided to get a cat...and Im allergic to them...so friday and saturday I spent the day cutting up with family and popping benadryl. Then the eating wasnt too great because they don't like to cook at home so we would go out to eat...not too good. There's not many healthy substitutes at a mexican restaurant...so Im putting my weekend behind me and looking forward to the rest of this week.

Goodmorning all...sorry I have been MIA, I don't have access to a computer when I am not at work and I left work early friday morning to go out of town with my mom, which was rather last minute so therefore I wasn't able to post a message to tell you all that I would be gone. I will post the results of last weeks challenge as soon as I can get a chance to. I hope everyone did well over the weekend...how did the challenge go so far for this week?

I do them on my bed, therefore I am not on the hard surface, where I tend to arch my back...sometimes I'll do them on the ball I have. Over time you will begin to learn a technique that will help you ease the back pain. I think when you first start off doign crunches and your stomach muscles are not strong, you tend to do crunches wrong...the more you do and concentrate on using just your stomach muscles, the better it is on your back. Just take it slow and really concentrate on using your stomach muscles...it will get better for you, I promise. It used to kill me to do crunches because I broke a bone in my lower back and that is where all the pressure would be when I did crunches...but slowly but surely it got better...so hang in there.

Welcome Rebecca....

How do you do that many crunches? I don't think my back could handle it all at one time. Do you have any tips? LOL your stomache has to be very sore. Great Job on being able to do it!! emoticon

Goodmorning all...well, for the challenge, I did finally get in 30 minutes on the treadmill...I definitely wanted to get in more exercise, but the 30 mins is better than nothing...I also got in 300 more crunches...whoohoo...my stomach is sore.

Lisa I think we could do both. If you want to take care of the challenges and we can rotate ideas but it still be you taking care of them. If that sounds okay.

I guess making the challenges a sticky topic might be good since this will be weekly challenges...then nobody can say they can't find the link for the challenges.

Alright sounds great. Since we seem to be talking about the team do you want to put the sticky topic on your challenges post? Just a thought. Or would you like to make the say something positive one of the challenges? And then we could put something else in its place.

Also...post your begining weight and then ending weight. Weigh in on Friday mornings and post your ending weight for this week...and then that will be your begining weight for next week. I will keep up with the challenges and points and stuff, but if ever you have an idea for a challenge let me know and I'll try to create it as part of the challenge. I will begin to add different things...some not having anything to do with weightloss...but should be helpful none the less.

I think I'll make a new thread for challenges...then I'll post the weekly challenge and then we can post our stats for the week there too. I will make a template and post it...all you'll need to do is copy it and then repost it with your stats in there...when you want to add another days stats just update your post....instead of creating a whole new post...it will make it easier to keep up with. I can make it to where we have points for completing each challenge too...therefore when we get more people we can make a list of the "winners" of each category since some people are motivated this way.

That sounds like a good challenge. Do you want to keep track on here or make a new thread. Do you want to continue it or just for a week? Did you look at the daily goal I put up? What did you think? I can do these great idea. It will keep us going until people start signing on.

Sounds Great!!

Hey...I think Im going to wait to make challenges until more people come...but I can make a small on for us...to kinda get us back into the swing of things.

**log food everyday...along with water intake**
**exercise atleast 30 minutes 3 times this week**
**get in 200 crunches for the week**

Normally I would run challenge from friday to the following thursday...unless you have an objection that is how I would like to do this group too.

I wanted to see happy feet...but the more I seen on the previews, the more it looked like one of those movies I could wait to see when it came out on DVD.

we love shrek also. WE have 1 and 2. WE are so waiting for shrek 3. My 6 year old has ADHD/bi-polar so we don't get to go to the movies either. We have movie night here at home. That way Trinity can run around or what ever. Or sleep. What ever she decides. We seen Happy Feet not to long ago. I didn't like it much but the girls loved it.

I love a lot of kids movies...shrek is wonderful though...I wish I could get my lil man to sit down and watch them with me though...he just isn't interested though. I guess when you have kids the "adult" movies (PG-13, R) are out of the pic and the cartoons start overtaking them...lol...that's alright though...

Yeah...I don't know why I cooked so much anyways because these are the same people that stood me up the last 2 times I had a get together at my apartment. One of them showed up before...about 3 hours late, but she did show. I wish they would have atleast called and let me know that they couldn't make it...I tried to call them but they didn't answer...so basically they just blew me off. I think I am just going to stop having get togethers at my apartment...they never go as planned.

Have you seen any good movies lately? I want to go see Shrek 3, but my son shows out in the movies...he still isn't into watching TV yet, so going to a movie is not entertainment for him.

I would love to go swimming! I love volleyball. I actually don't remember it being that fun but it was. I would be a little upset to if people said they would be their and didn't show. But you have the right attitude. It won't change anything. At least you have an idea who not to count on next time.

Wow...I haven't played volleyball since I was in 8th grade when i played for my school...that was like 12 years ago...whoah! I went to my parents house...we cooked out and went swimming...it was OK. I had a cookout sunday night at my house but a lot of the people that said they were going to come didn't show up...so I was a little ticked off, but Im not going to worry about it...I can't change what happend...just was upset about the money I wasted because majority of the food will get thrown away...I can't eat that much.
