I have a bugg and I love it!!! I bought it through costco.com and got a one year subscription with it. I also use a sportline s7 (walmart cheapo monitor watch thingy) because I don't have constant internet to be able to check my calorie burns as often as I would like. But I have lost 5 pounds since I started using it. I love it. My only complaint is that I'm right between a large and a medium size on the arm bands and I have a bug sensor "tatoo" when I take it off at bed time. If you have the money it's a great investment in you!

S - Start slowly, set yourself up for success
T - Try new things, don't say you can't do something or don't like something before you have tried it.
A - Add movement everywhere, walking farther, calf raises while waiting in line, etc.
R - Realize that you are human & will make mistakes
T- Take time to recognize your successes - celebrate!

God, grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me.

I used one right b4 my wedding and it was so great- it made losing weight like a game! I just borrowed it and need it again, but I'll have to buy one this time :-( I'd highly recommend it if you have the funds! You do have to subscribe to the website or the BB is pretty much useless. It's not too expensive though.

I already have a stellar heart rate monitor, so I can't really justify this, though I think it would be great to have.

The nike+ipod has alot of the same features. If you already have an ipod nano or ipod touch 2gen. It monitors steps and calories burned. It also counts excercise I believe. It's about $50. My view is that I'm already going to be listening to my ipod while working out why not having something that works with it so its not alot of extra stuff. You don't have to get the nike shoes. There is alot of sites with tips on where to put the sensor in regular shoes. Just an option!

I'm contemplating getting one, since I was going to invest in a heart rate monitor anyway, and it seems this does all of that and more. My friend has one, I'm waiting to hear her verdict on it before I get one though. It's expensive!

I would LOVE one, but with three young kids and limited income...I know more important things that that sort of money can be spent on.
Anybody know of another option that is cheaper?

its a device you wear on your arm that is over 90% accurate on measuring how many calories your body has burned throughout the day, including workouts. You can upload the data and put in your calorie intake for the day and see the difference of calories burned verses calories intake for the whole day. Not just when you are working out.

I have been tossing the idea around of getting a bodybugg with my tax refund since its like 200 bucks. I think it would be a great tool to measure calories in and out, however just want ya'lls opinions
