I got the Wii Fit Plus and I enjoy it because it holds me accountable. I really like using it for the obstacle course and yoga. I feel I will outgrow it pretty fast b/c
1- it doesn't really account for the need to use weights on strength training (the Wii remote is NOT heavy enough!)
2- It's not requiring me to keep my heart rate up for any real amount of time. However, I think it's a great starting tool, and good for the yoga and weighing in!

I received the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas and so far I love it. Since I tend to be a tad bit ADHD, it helps that the different exercises only last a few minutes. The game is also super encouraging (minus the obese thing). I do worry that it is not enough exercise though.

We also have the Julian Michaels game that my partner loves, she says it really kicks her butt! I am going to try that tonight. The music seems really great, but it doesn't seem to be as responsive to movement as the Wii Fit game. We also canít seem to get the balance board to work with Julian Michaels, anyone else use the game and can help out?

I love my Wii Fit+....just to not hear the thing say that I was too tired to work out yesterday huh makes me do my workout religiously. I use the Biggest Lose game in conjunction with it and really enjoy the workout that I get. And this is coming from the person whose workout used to consist of walking from the couch to the refrigerator

From what I hear, the EA Sports Active might be a better workout. Of course, I'd like to do more research and hear more reviews, but if I buy anything to complement my Wii, it will probably be that.

The wii fit can be a good workout for me if I do the aerobic kind of games everyday for at least 30 minutes.

I do have to sing the praises of the updates they made to the wii fit plus. I makes working out with the wii fit way better. First of all, I tells you how many calories you burn after each exercise/game. You can set a goal of calories to burn, therefore you stick with playing until you reach your daily calorie burn goal. That part motivates me.

The other great part is you can make custom routines, so you aren't wasting time going back and forth through menus. Which means you can work out for 30 minutes and not be actuall spending 45+ minutes.

I just bought Wii Fit plus and EA Sports Active 3 days ago. I have to admit that when the game told me I was "obese" I burst into tears.. not something easy to hear lol Anyways I'm concerned that the workouts arn't challenging enough. The only ones that seem to get me sweaty and out of breathe are the running exercises.(I loathe running) EA Sports Active however I do think is challgening and it didn't call me obese lol But these are really my only source of exercise so hopefully it'll work, I'll keep ya posted.

I tried using it for 30 days but in short I also bought the Biggest Loser dvd"s and for 9 bucks at walmart it is definantly worth the $ it has done wonders for me and so now with the new year I am recommending the Biggest loser cardio blast to everyone with a weight loss resolution :)

I'm not sure how the xbox one works, but I can tell you in just the short, basically week, I've had the wii fit I've been watching what I eat more and have already notice a physical difference just in feeling overall better with doing the yoga and aerobic workouts. Also, it is good because my friends come over and work out but it doesn't feel as much like a workout because we are laughing at how funny we look flapping our arms like a bird, swiveling our hips for the hula or being a drum major in the parade game.

If you have the money I'd strongly recommend this game. You do a daily fitness test which tells you our bmi and while I know it isn't the most accurate thing to use--since the bmi does not take into account muscle mass-- I've made it a goal for me to wake up each morning with a lower bmi than the day before. So, far I have even if it is just .20. instead of a full point or something.

My husband and I bought the WiiFit when it was first released, and then the WiiFit+ when it came out.

I use the yoga and balance games most, and the new ones that were added to the Fit+ I really like the obstacle course, and tend to do the adding game 5-10 minutes a day. Exercize and a small brain workout all in one =)

I wouldn't attribute our weight loss to this, but its certainly helped out our balance, and given us something to do together.

I was wondering how good it was....i have been thinking of getting it...but i don't use the wii fit I have...i do love the yoga on the fit and i started working out with it, but got a biggest loser video instead....so now i just use the body test and then do my normal 55 min biggest loser video...i'm just worried i'd get it and then not use it....??? Though my 6 year old daughter loves the wii fit...lol

I just bought it four days ago as well. I do a mix of everything, but I at least get in my body test every morning and then I do 20 minutes a day at least.. but usually an hour throughout the day.
I can't help you with long-term luck but we could motivate each other or something like that.
I hope you are having as much fun with the wii as I am!

Does anyone use the Wii Fit Plus as part of your exercise routine? My husband and I are just beginning. So far, it seems like it would really help us. We have been working out everyday on it for 30 minutes. I have found the run to be the most beneficial. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any long-term luck with it?

Thanks!!
