Happy Easter everyone.
I'm back again. Just updated my weight and goals. I was planning to join the 5% challenge but missed the deadline. But I reflected this in my goals.

3 things I did well,
Had a pretty good breakfast I'm a little over on carbs and a little under on fat, protein is close. but I have the rest of the day to go.
Attending Worship online
and Day 110 streak of 10K+ steps with my new Garmin tracker (fitbit died).

Great job Janet!
I can't pick up my house- its too heavy lol But I need to do some serious decluttering! :)

1. Today I have walked over 15K steps, did my regular AM 2 mi w/ the dog and PM 1.5 mi.
2. We also went to the Bark o Rama event at the city park and did lots more walking.
3. went to my regular weekly workout. LOVE my POUND class! (Aerobics w/ drum sticks is SOO much fun)

My 3 things:
1. no fast food or soda since the end of July when I was stuck in an airport for a 3 hr layover.
2. Walking 10K/day for a 75 day streak! swimming 2/wk
3. eating a healthy breakfast most mornings

Still gotta work on meal planning.

3 things I did well today:
1. Got my car into the shop to get a new radiator (I should have stayed its gonna take them all day instead of just a couple hours and I will still have to take it back for the tune up another day. I guess I will be sure to bring my lunch with me that day and a good book- the only thing in walking distance is Mc D's).

2. had a healthy breakfast

Tuesday: Today will be my 41st day of 10K steps or more. (Even during 2 week-long conferences- one in June, one last week. Just that the fitbit didn't recognize ANY 'active minutes" even though I did 10K+ steps and several flights of stairs.)

Took my dog for an early 2 mile walk this am,

lost 4 of the 5 lbs that I gained due to my most recent travel.

HOPEWHISPERSTOME - that's emoticon that you ate good at work! I always struggle with that. Now I'm home with the baby and I try to cook often, but when I worked it was bakery stuff for lunch way too often.

What and encouragement to see so many hopeful messages.

Today (monday) I logged in to SP and discovered I have a 25 day streak of 10K steps or more!
I did wii fit for 45 min (combo of yoga, strength, balance games and aerobics).
And I am still below a weight barrier that I have struggled to break through for quite some time! Now for the next one (7 lbs in 30 days may be possible, but may be too much).

1. got up early on my day off, Why?
2, walked 5K in my neighborhood with the dog- sometimes managed a 17 min mi but avg was just under 22 min/mi. (the dog had to stop and sniff a lot. I paused the workout app sometimes but not always.)
3. had special K w/ red berries with low fat vanilla yogurt for b'fast (don't usually eat b'fast)

Yes it can be daunting and overwhelming when we look at the time it''ll take to get from point A to point B, but with every day in between that we're working our plan, WE ARE becoming STRONGER, and LEANER and FITTER and that's where the real magic happens.

Point B is merely a pause to look back and say... " I DID IT! " and continue on. emoticon

Awesome 808Islandgal! And I saw you made it to ONEderland! Congratulations!

I just did some playing around with the goal weight/goal date trackers. If I keep on target with a 1.5 lb loss every week, I can make it to ONEderland by March 1st. that Seems so far away.
Particularly daunting because last semester of grad school was overwhelming, together with working full time+. My health and home got neglected. (My dog even gained weight- and we weren't able to get to our pre-school numbers over the summer.)

But, I bought salads and brought them to work for lunch for each day this week.

I joined a fitbit "work week hustle" challenge with a friend in another state. (need to get my hustle on!)

My 3 today-
Attended my Toastmasters meeting that has a monthly pot luck- only took one small piece of cake even though someone was trying to convince me to take 2.

2. filled in all my measurements - not much different from 2 years ago- except for weight and BMI.

3. cooked fish and rice for lunch- have enough for at least 2 more meals to take to work.

These are actually for yesterday:
1) I walked for an hour outside, even though it was cold. The sun was shining, and I wanted to be out in the sunshine!
2) Hubby stopped for a sub on the way home after the walk, and I didn't get anything...I ate turkey we had at home, which I knew would be healthier.
3) I drank plenty of water yesterday.

1. Skipped getting extra coffee (and perhaps other tempting things) after a stressful medical appointment (a typical "reward"), got some nice herbal tea instead.

2. Tried a lighter salad dressing at lunchtime. (I usually avoid anything "lite".) It was much less yucky than I feared. This is a tiny, but healthy substitution I can make on a regular basis.

3. Dealt with a couple of small items I've been procrastinating to help eliminate some extra stress.

3. The biggest one for the day...at supper, I did not go back for seconds, I normally get seconds and thirds, now I have lunch for a few days.
