Try keeping a positive attitude about exercise. I'm not losing either, but exercise benefits our bodies in other ways. Some are improvement in mood, blood pressure, cholesterol, muscle strength and tone, strength, energy, sleep. Since many with thyroid have these problems, they would be worse without exercise. Since I was diagnosed with hypothyroid, I'm logging my food and exercise and taking them to doctor appts. Even if he doesn't have an answer to why I'm not losing weight, at least he knows I'm doing my best.

I agree with Mzz...where's your TSH? Also you may want to check adrenal glands, B12, Vitamin D, etc.

IMO its important to make sure your TSH is in a good spot, that usually means between 1.8 and 1.3 for people on synthetics like Synthroid, and even lower for those on the Porcines like Armour and Naturethyroid.

Even at a good TSH its still difficult losing weight and keeping it off for us.

I try to focus on my health and building strength rather than on the scale.

Don't shortchange yourself by focusing only on the scale...be sure to jump into all that SP has to offer - and importantly, don't forget to establish weight loss goals, and also non-weight goals. It will be crucial to your long term success.

It's normal for people with thyroid to lose less as compared to others.just what we need is positive attitude and stick to our goals.
And we can do..
try for lifestyle change,eat within calorie range,take medicine regularly...
even I am losing and gaining back,but still trying!

I'm Katherine and a little disappointed in the way of not losing weight i thought i lost a pound and then i gained it back i dont understand i go to the gym 3 times a week and it seems like its not working.
