I follow Spark Diabetes plan. I am leaning toward more plant based nutrition. I have cut most processed food. I eat a rainbow assortment of veggies and 2 servings of fruit. Currently I eat between 1,200 and 1,550 calories a day. More specifically between 1,300 and 1,400. I don't sweat it if I have a day I want to go over. I am treadmilling 70 minutes, 10 of that is slow cool down. I added strength 20 minutes per day. I hike 5k to 5 miles on the weekend once. If I am lucky I get in 2 days. Our weather has been bad. I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks. I only drink water and coffee. For all this work I have lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks. I am down 33 all together. I did spark 2 years ago.

LETHA- what is the SOS-free plant based plan? Allergy and intolerance testing for me came back no soy,dairy, eggs, wheat, bananas, pineapples, rice, green beans, pork, salmon and mustard. I have been eating soy and dairy free for a month. Now I have to eliminate the other things. With the wheat, it is just wheat, not gluten or Durham wheat.

Keep on Sparking! It really works!

My plan is to stay within my suggested calorie range. I also have been walking about an hour 5 days a week.

Last night I was off plan last night but today am on. 30 min walk and a lower calorie breakfast than yesterday. I cut my creamer to 2 tbs vs 3 vs previous dump a bunch in until it looks beige. I also trimmed my PB but added honey to my toast. Seeing the honey was 60 calories I may trim that too.

Today I will have salad at lunch and chicken and rice for dinner. Tomorrow is planned pizza night i will limit slices and have salad to compensate.

today's plan is to do better than yesterday and yesterday was good. i walked half a mile and went to bed early to avoid a snack that would have put me over my calorie goal. today calorie goal is 1800. I started the day with an hour of bike riding, A huge step for me was measuring my coffee creamer.

313.2 Starting a 90 day personal challenge. I will post updates in this happy group.

My plan is just to eat food and not junk.
Exercise some each day and drink more water.

Today I dumped the chips and some other stuff and bought vegtables, chicken and more healthy snack stuff such as hummus and taboulle.
