Kenya, I was hoping it would work too but it looks like lots are having problems with Sparkpeople. I hope that those that CAN spend some time checking out the resources because it really is an amazing site. SOOOO much content and it's FREE. Pretty amazing really.

Stress and emotions are HARD stuff. Having people to talk to and talk it out hopefully help.

Last night and most of today went by in a blur with almost losing one of our great danes. Looks like he will be ok though. Not quite out of the woods. Then we had a severe thunderstorm and tornado warning. Crazy stuff.

Waiting on Sears to come fix our washer. I am almost out of clothes!

I see Rhona and Kayanna racked up some points so far. I am extending the time frame for earning points because we have a few people who are experiencing technical difficulties. I will be posting a chance to earn more points today so get em because I have a nice little gift for the first drawing winner. I am about to go walk the lake. My goal is 2x a round it today. I am a little sore from yesterday so if I do one time around and my body says stop then I will stop. Everyone have a wonderful day!

Today I had a yummy breakfast: raisin swirl toast with a little butter.
A delicious lunch:chicken pita sandwich with a side of strawberries and gold fish.
Dinner was a last minute chicken with tomatoes and spinach (and anything else that needed to be eaten ASAP)

Exercise: worked up a sweat deep cleaning and rearranging my room. Looks so good now :)

one more session to go and can call it a day. tomorrow the men are bringing in gravel and yours truly is going to help rake it out around my building. Had the weeds sprayed today so they wont break through as bad. watered my babies at the office. when I moved in this yard was a weed patch. now we have grass, trees and flowers.

I hear you on hot Shonnie. 92 here today. I tried to do the big things early but still got overheated which does not do well with autoimmune disorders. Brian is out of the country and I am left to "do" the house, yard, dogs etc. I mowed, weed wacked and cleaned the dog run today. Got the four trash and recycling bins up to the curb just now (300' drive so it's a bit of a workout).

I am hydrated for sure. Got a workout in the pool.

Cleaned the refrigerator and freezer which are chores that occur less often. Decided to get rid of a bunch of bottles of sauces and such that I use occasionally in recipes. Mostly asian sauces. I also got rid of all Brian's soda and he is going to KILL me when he gets home. Not that I am tempted by it but he said right before he left that things have to change when he gets home so I am just helping!

My washer has been out for a week and that is getting to be untenable. They come tomorrow between 3-6.

Tell me more about krav maga please. It sounds a bit like crossfit.

I hope everyone makes their way here. A few are having trouble getting in.

Off to get some more work done around here. Crazy how 4 dogs and one human can be so messy.

I made it to my Krav Maga challenge group this morning: did bag drills, and stations consisting of kettle bells, resistance bands, push ups, step ups, and more. emoticon

Started today off with a walk around the lake. Got overheated so I will need to plan better. Getting up earlier is not a solution as it is already 80 degrees at 7am. So I will dress lighter for one and take a water bottle with me. I don't do well in the heat but even worse when I am overheated. Planning will be a challenge for me but that is part of the journey.
