My name is Darlene and I live in Tacoma now and love it. I have my own apartment and I don't have to do anything if I don't want to. But in the 5th of Jan I'll be going to the doctors for her to put me on a diet since I've tryed myself but I don't have anything to follow so this way I'll be on a diet that the doctor will give me and I'll be exercising along doing the walk away the pounds on tape and on DVD.

Hi, My name is Maggi. I joined the 28 day Bootcamp workout challenge to get myself to exercise. I have lost 80 lbs in the last six months but have done very little exercise and I know I need to pick it up to continue to lose. I have about another 70 lbs to go to get to my goal weight.

My name is Jake. I am a full time student, father of four, and a husband. I am also a personal chef, fly fisherman, and have more hobbies than I know what to do with. I have given up all except fishing and cooking so that I would have time to exercise every day and spend ample time with my kids. I am super jazzed about this challenge. When I started spark 4 weeks ago I was averaging 10-30 minutes of cardio. Now I am pushing 1 hour with my heart rate in the prime zone. I am interval training. I am finding it very easy to stick to the plan right now. I go into see the Doc on Monday and I will be weighed for the first time in a month at that time. It will be interesting to see what the scale tells me. I have never been so motivated to lose the weight and get in shape before in my life. I am enjoying breaking my cardio up every other day between hiking in the knee deep snow and the wii golds gym cardio. I am also in the process of writing a healthy eating cook book, It will be called Gastronomy for the Heart. I simply love creating in the kitchen. I am going to school to become a dietitian, and a personal trainer, which will require I get the extra weight off and get my butt in shape. Anyway lets get this Bootcamp Running!!

My name is Jen. I was fired from my job in which I was awesome at and never broke a rule. I am feeling the pain, nver have been fired before, and it hurts more that it wasnt for something I had actually done. With this I need extra help not getting into my depressed state, I need to launch into 2011 strong!!! I am ready for a NEW START! I'm Kara. I just turned 30 (in November) and am more than 30 lbs. over weight. I've been a Spark member for a little over 2 years. I've not been very consistent and have actually gained about 10 lbs. In early 2010 I started running. I've already signed up for my first half marathon (in March) and first marathon (in October). I've got to make some progress and thought a little challenge might do the trick.

Hi,my name is Wendy and I have been a member of sparkpeople for quite some time. I have recently been giving myself some extra challenges and this board just works right in with it. By the end of the 28 days my goal is to be down by 5 lbs. It is very difficult for me to lose weight so 5 lbs is quite ambitious.

Hello, I am Jessie. I have been with Sp since 2008 off and on. I have been on a mission to lose this weight finally. (My in-laws gave us a trip to an indoor water park in early Feb. so I have to work off this extra weight to be able to fit into my swimsuit) I lost about 25 pounds last year but only to fall off the wagon and regain it all, but I am back and I am not making the same mistake twice!

HI there, my name is Jonna - want a jump start on the new year. I have used Sparkpeople on and off for almost 5 years! I have lots weight with SP after both my pregnancies and have recently become certified to teach SPIN, Pilates and body sculpt, but have reached a plateau in my weight loss. Don't have much more that I would like to loose, but need the extra encouragement in the eating area!

Hi, I want to give this a try but if it is felt I can not do this let me know. I am in my 7th week of recovering from knee surgery. I have been in active for almost 9 weeks and have gained some weight back that I need to get off. I am used to being active and want to give this a good try. So.... is this something I can do?

I am orginally from Washington DC. I live an hour north of NYC now in the lower Hudson Valley.

I joined this challenge so I would be more faithful to doing my exercises each day. I was close to goal when I had four months of dental surgery and had to eat soft foods. It really set me back. I am beginning again in earnst tomorrow morning. 2011 - I am determined to meet my goal.

Good Evening Everyone! My name is Michelle. I live in southern indiana, but I'm originally from Orange County California. I've struggled with my weight most of my life now, and I've recently had all kinds of problems with me health. My wake up call was a doctor telling me I had diabetes. Now I'm seeking a second opinion when I saw the numbers, but it is still prediabetes. I want to get my health back in order.
