Ya, it's a crazy the changes I've made, and my friends often roll their eyes, but 80 lbs gone, and I don't want to find them again!!! For me, when I stopped eating processed lunch meat and processed breads, sandwiches weren't even a problem! I do still make a killer homemade pizza once a week!!

It's funny that you say that about sandwiches! I've met two people that have fantastic bodies that don't really 'watch' their weight, but both of them said the same thing... they don't eat sandwiches!! They had kind of the same/different reasons, but both kind of around the idea of eating more veggies, less bread, and most importantly, not stacking all of your calories onto the same square!!!

Hey there and WOW way to go on the weight.....I menu plan for every day and usually 2 meals are new......I love your idea for the zuc. hummus....let us know how it was....have a great day

Welcome to the team. I am with you People look at me funny when I eat something and remark I can taste the box. We eat only whole real food. We cook from scratch and I can taste all the artificial flavor in pre made foods. At work when people are eating all the fast foods, I have my fresh fruits, veggies and my sandwiches are from my fridge. I do not eat many sandwiches, but I will have a sliced tomato, monzirella cheese and basil with homemade dressing. They drink soda, I drink water. My weight is under control. I dropped all thwe Ws from my clothes and feel good.

Hi! I'm trying to become more involved in the community here! I'm not new to SP, but trying to make some new 'friends' on here!! I'm down about 80 lbs, right now maintaining, but think I'm ready to start losing that last 1/3 of my weight...

I'm very much a whole, natural, unprocessed type of foods gal. People think I'm a pain to feed, but that's ok, I let them come over and I feed them instead!!! I follow some of the paleo recipes and idea, but not 100%.

I'm about to go make a new zucchini 'hummus' recipe I found- basically replaces the garbanzos with zucchini- no problem with garbanzos, but like the idea of getting another (green) veggie in this way.
