Hi there for me and exercise it is all about repetition.... I do it in the morning about the same time 6 days a week. I started slow and continue to grow. I guess that could be said with food as well,,, Not as good in that department but getting better. Trying to not eat after 8:00...so very difficult for me.....baby step for me on that one.

I can really relate to this topic because I'm addicted to food not just to keep my body going but to soothe every problem. Need to continue to lose weight but I have a problem with sugar & exercise if anyone has some helpful tips to overcome these roadblocks please share them. I'm in my 50's & really want to live healthy for many more years to come. Let's go team & work together to lose!!

Welcome! I can totally identify with your love/hate relationship with food. I am really good 6 out of 7 days with what I choose or cook. But sometimes I just have to be "bad". Today was one of those days when I "threw the baby out with the bath water" and deliberately had a very unhealthy fattening lunch. (Steak fingers, french fries, cornbread muffin & butter). Yikes! The upside of that little story - is that I burned over 900 calories in the gym this morning before I ate that lunch- so it could be much worse. I have learned to accept, that on occasion - I will have those types of meals or days.

hey and welcome...Food is Great and such a social thing. Just found out in the paper this morning Yogurt is the best thing for you (I think I am the only one who doesn't like it ) and that potatoes are super bad for you, ( one of my all time favs)...back to the drawing board.

I'm glad I found this group. I have a love/hate relationship with food. I LOVE it so much, but sometimes i love the wrong kinds too much....like pizza and taco bell and choclate cookies. But I also love fresh, heathly good for you foods. I am italian, so I try to make classic italian foods, but healthy lighter versions. Lots of green veggies sauteed with evoo and garlic YUM!! and whole wheat pasta, even got the hubby to enjoy that!
I'm excited to get new recipes, and share some also!
