Hi, I am Amy and I am trying to lose weight and especially lose my tummy. I have done a total 360 and eating healthy. I have barely any processed foods left in my house. I've never been a big eater, but used to eat so many TV dinners so at least all done with those. I try to make quick meals as always so busy and love making things with eggs. I really like kiwi, strawberries, watermelon for snacking -- have other fruits i snack on too, so much better than the past when i snacked on chips.

I feel very rejuvenated with my new change in healthy eating and this is my 3rd week with spark and I pretty much exercise 5 days a week, was doing 7 at full intensity but i was getting so worn down that now i do 5 days with cardio along with 3 days are only a few strength training, everyday i at least do a 10 min. video from spark as on the 28 day challenge on spark. So it's good 5 days are a minimum of 30 min. workout, give body some rest other days.

My eating goal is set to 1200-1550/day, most days it's usually in low 1300 range, some days I don't even make 1200 like yesterday as got so busy at work, but I think in the end as some days are low and some days are high it all evens out.

All bodies are different and I definitely have a body that takes forever to lose weight, but finally I got back down to 163, kept going up before so I'm hoping by keeping up with exercises and eating healthier that will go down; this past week i lost the 2 lbs which was nice, just have trouble getting under 160. My goal if I can get there is to be at 130 by middle of Nov. or at least pretty close for my birthday!

My motivation is just having a better body for myself and eating healthier to live longer is a plus!

Hello I'm Sunshine0612, and I've been a member of SP since 4/27/2011. When I started on SP my weigh in was 197 lbs. and I've managed to loss a total of 20.8 lbs, but it hasn't been easy. I'm 38 years old with two sons ages are 20 & 17 years of age. I started working out on 4/8/2010, when my weight reached a number that I couldn't handle. I workout 5 days a week, 1.5 to 2 hours a day, I walk 1 hour 5 mornings a week. I've been burning around 3800 calories per week, which was (1400) calories over my allowed weekly calorie burn, but I continued to eat only 1200 calories a day. So I haven't lost any weight for the month of July so far, I'm still lingering at 176.6, which I guess is good in a way. I at least wanted to lose 10 lbs for the month of July. I changed up my exercise program routine and I'm also trying to eat from the middle to the high end of my allowed calorie intake suggested by SP which should be between 1350-1700 calories per day. I want to lose 25 more lbs by Dec. 31, 2011.

I am in my best friends wedding this coming August and am the maid of honour in my sisters wedding in October. Do what you know is right and be strong for yourself. We are all going to have bumps in the road and we have to be strong to not be hard on ourselves. Jump on the wagon as often as you have to, to not make the weight win. Focus, refocus and stay focused!

im tired of looking for fat cloths! tshirts and strechy pants are my wardrobe! and im sick of them!!

the belly fat cure...it's no more than 15 carbs and 6 sugars a day

dont diet! they dont work, what your doing now has to be something you can do for the rest of your life bcuz when you reach your goal and go back to eating the way you use to the pounds come back!!

Hi everyone!

I am Glenna from WV. I live on a farm with my hubby. We have milk cows, chickens, and a large garden. I also tie fishing flies and sell them. I stay very busy! I am 50 years old.

My motivation is to stay healthy. I went from 224# in 2005 to 150# in 2008. Now I weigh 192#. So it's time to get with the program. I felt and looked so much better before!

My goal is to get back to 150#.

My fitness plan is to either walk or bike at least 5 days per week.

My nutrition plan is based on the exchanges and counting points.

My best advice is to never, ever give up. Always keep trying and you will win. And find a buddy!! It sure helps!!

I'm Shayla, and for some reason SP is showing my name in half caps, half lower case... Anyway!
I'm from Ontario Canada and have been a member of SP since November 2009. I'm trying to lose weight for myself so that I can keep up with my daughter and future kids :) So far, I'm getting the exercise minutes and calories in, but not so much the losing weight - however, I am shrinking in size. Hi Vamps, remember we are totally burning calories throughout the day. The report that you have found has taken your numbers and calculated everything for you. I've learned to use the sparks calculations because if you listen to them, you do lose weight. The more I try and change things around the harder this journey becomes for me.

I guess to answer your question, your not doing anything wrong. Just keep using the trackers as you seem to be and you'll continue to see the scale move in the right direction. Let me know if you have any further questions because I'm here for you.

Hi! i'm melanie! I'm 21, and I'm trying to lose about 20 pounds. I used to be an athlete until I was injured and gained 17 pounds. i've been getting back into working out after 7 months and it's been really frustrating. HI Im Shannon from cleveland,OH. I am engaged (no date set)I have a 4yr old daughter who is going on 14! I have been over weight for as long as I can remember and I want to change that! I like working out so I have that going for me but what good is it if ya dont eat right!! I am a chocolatolic! I will do anything to get it. Will go to the gas station and hide it my car or eat it right away..somethings its not even chocolate it can be any kind of junk!! I need help!! I want my body to stop hurting!! my knees hurt going up stairs..my grandma's knees hurt her... I dont want to be like that!! Im only 32yr old.. I think its a little early for aches and pains!! I need good ideas for packin a lunch and healthy dinners. I might be asking for a lot but what better place to ask!

Hi Nikki, it is good to have you join us! From the sound of it, I doubt surgery and fills are the healthy way to go. It is better for you to do this for yourself, and will be more rewarding for you when you know that YOU did it, and that will give you confidence and strength to face any adversity.

Greetings! I am Nikki, a 39yr.old mother of 3 boys, and wife for 6ys.
I am here to re-gain a healthy lifestyle and shed some unwanted pounds. I had the Lap Band surgery about 4 yrs. ago and lost 68lbs. When I stopped getting my fills and tried to maintain the weight lose on my own, I have gained nearly all the weight I worked so hard at losing back due to some emotional eating and a host of family/marital problems. I am looking for support in trying to re-gain the weight I'd lost. It gave me so much confidence in myself and I loved the energy that I had.It has been a battle trying to lose the weight again without the assistance from my fills, but I simply can not afford to get them, therefore I will work at trying to lose it on my own. With the help of this team, motivation and determination I will succeed. I don't want it to happen over night,but in time.
I can do all things through Jesus Christ!

Melodie, I did the same thing as you, and have had to go back to the beginning. I have learned my lesson though--once you have Spark, there is no going back.

Hey Angel, I am sorry to hear you feeling so down. I am sure you can reach your summer size 6 goal. I too would love to be a 6 again.

Suman, it is great to have you. With your kids growing up, it is definitely time for you to live for yourself and take care of #1!

People that come by my job looking for me that cant remember my name they always describe me as the short chunky girl with dark hair. I'm so tired of people describing me as that. I am Melodie and I have been a member of spark since 9/2009 I was down to 194 from 208 in June of 09 then i went back up to 200 because I quit using spark and quit trying.I am now at 196 but I have been there since January! I am a runner 3 miles 3x's a week. I work out 30 min a day atleast 5days aweek if not more and I do ST 3 days a week and i stay within my calorie range but nothing is working! So I found this team and joined any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Also id someone can explain to me how this 25 in 25 works I would appreciate that too! THANKS emoticon

Hi everyone i am Teresa and i'm 46 years old i have a 8 year old son and happily married to a wonderful man of almost 11 years on May 6th and we are going away for the weekend in may and i want to lose at least 20 pounds by than and we have been together total almost 15 years and i live in WVa and i take care of the elderly and love my job and my little ladys i take care of.
What is your motivation? i need to lose this weight for me.
What is your goal? To lose 20 pounds by may 6th for our anniversary.
What is your fitness plan? to try and work out 4 times a week.
What is your nutrition plan? To stay on track with my food.
What is your best advice for others? To stick with this we didnt gain this weight over night and its not coming off over night take one day at a time.

I'm addicted to Girl Scout cookies. Thank goodness the one mom today told me that next weekend is the last weekend they'll be selling them. I am single handedly keeping these Girl Scouts in the cookie-making business and I need to be stopped! I've never met a Tag-a-log I didn't like. Or a Samoa for that matter.
