Very cool. It is good to see the progress as I'm new to the site. I'm not new to starting over and rebuilding my exercise program from the very beginning. The challenge comes along after the current return to exercise. I don't have to get into a bikini, but I'm looking forward to the push to get in the discipline. I think this is JUST what I need! When I first joined, I posted everything I ate, and later started exercising daily with the 10 min fitness challenge - I lost 75 pounds! Then I got creakey and backed off. The more I gain back, the more it hurts just to move around. At 56, it gets hard to actually get MORE fit, but I'm going to GET me a fitness band, and find a way to fit in the 10 min video every day. (I get the swimming and walking / cardio in already, and am streching my cover-me-up swimsuits to the MAX!)

So, here's to starting over. I think the worst part is that I'll really want to know my Starting Weight this time. And, I threw my scales away a year or so ago.

Another Bootcamp first timer, right here. =) Probably not looking at a bikini anytime soon. I'll be happy with still fitting in last year's one piece. emoticon

I can tough it out for one measly month of my life, yeah? I hope so. I've got almost a month of consistent C25K and food tracking under my belt right now, so all I have to do is rev it up a little.

Excited for another Bootcamp. I enjoyed the last one and I really need a pick me up at this point. Semesters have changed and I'm struggling to get into a new routine so this should help.

Starting these is always odd and since most of us are strangers for the moment, just consider yourself heartily greeted. :)

I'm Johanna and while I love the concept of Sweatsuit to Swimsuit, my joining this group had little to do with the bikinis I've never worn. One of the few areas in my life I'm not wholly able to deal with completely on my own is developing a fit lifestyle. All but a couple of my friends are out of state now, as is my family, and when it comes to getting to the gym or being responsible about my eating habits, I need to feel accountable to someone other than myself. I know that I'm not at the weight/strength I should be, but I'm happy and unless I'm somehow committed to making a change in a public way I tend to slack off. Hooray for longitudinal progress charts and people I don't know!

I love working out, but I can be lazy, so being able to come home after a 14 hour day and not have the excuses of "The gym's closed already" or "I don't feel like changing into anything by pajamas" to fall back on will be both good for me and a rather pleasant change of pace.

In the short term, I'd like to use this challenge to take off some weight and get a little bit quicker. I wear many hats, but the one wearing the nanny hat wants to be nice and speedy once the 7 month-old starts crawling. :)

Hi! I'm looking forward to this boot camp... I haven't even worn a swimsuit in ages... and even then it's been for the back yard pool... or I was WELL covered up. I'm really excited!

I've become more realistic about my chances of losing enough in a few months, so if I'm not swimsuit ready until summer 2010, I'm ok with that,since that's supposed to be our family cruise anyway. But hey, you never know,- I mean some of my old clothes are already fitting again.

Hi There, I am 31 and in desperate need to kick start my weight loss. I have been at home with my son on Maternity leave for the past 6 months, and in that time I have managed to gain as much weight as possible. I am now the heaviest I have ever been and I am tired of it. Hi all. I'm Georgie from Jacksonville, FL. I've been on SparksPeople for a while, but this is my first challange. Greetings, I'm Gokce, whose life is going between losing weight and then gaining back. My problem is not that 'I eat healthy and work out but still it doesn't work' but simply I cannot stop eating. But this time, by the team motivation and 'social networking commitment' I won't cheat on my promises again. Hopefully :)I wanna lose around 6 kgs (13 ibs) until June 15. Thanks for the motivation!

Hi, My name is Anne and I'm from NH. This is my first boot camp. I was going to try the earlier one this year but my schedule really messed me up. This tme my schedule fits. I will need to watch it on some of the upper body strengthening and pilates because I have a pinched tendon and some other things going on with my left shoulder. I am looking forward to trying as much as I can. I'm also doing a 2000 minutes cardio challenge with another group.

Success consists of getting up once oftener than you fall down. ANON.
