Thank you. Pored over materials my friend gave me and three different FB group pages so am feeling a little more confident. The family had pizza for dinner last night but I stuck to the plan. Found some treats that are listed with syns and hot pot options in the international section of our local supermarket. Was surprised. I mainly stick to protein and veggies for my dinner. Like to keep it simple. But will enjoy some rice/ pasta/potatoes a few times a week. Hoping this program works for me as I have tried almost everything out there. Am encouraged by many of the before/after pics posted on FB.

May need a practice week. Lol. Have to get to know what contains syns and how many. Didn't eat badly but just not sure of things. Will get better I am sure.

I have decided to start this journey today. I live in the Caribbean so don't have access to certain ingredients but I am sure I can adjust things and stay within the boundaries. Also may need some interpretation of ingredients....lol. Looking forward to finally having some success. Have been a yo-yo dieter for most of my life. emoticon
