Hubby and I are giving up chocolate, biscuits and cake for March, hoping that will lead to a healthier feeling inside and also maybe some inches down.

SW Lifeline Online this week is Fakeaways and Motivational Tools

Motivation is a powerful tool, when it is harnessed ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, you can ACHIEVE ANYTHING.

SW allows us to set our own Target so there is no Pressure from Goals or Deadlines, however sometimes we do need to set ourselves a target so we have something to work towards.

Think about the football match, 2 teams run onto the pitch in the Stadium but if there aren't 2 goalposts at each side there can be no game!
Sometimes we do need a goal/target in mind else we can drift, 1lb on 1lb off etc week on week. So what is YOUR TARGET FOR MARCH?

It could be a size, a weight, inches - tape measure

Remember with SW its always CHOICE POWER which is VITALLY IMPORTANT.

Think about the tools we have at SW.

1. Plan meals, plan our shopping list and stick to it!

2. Eat lots of food with S alongside - remember you may not be eating enough!
You need to have 1/3 of your plate at each meal filled with S foods.

3. Body Magic - even if its only 10 minutes a day, even
Park a bit further away so you have to walk more

4. Drink Plenty

5. Check Syn Values - don't guess!

6. Be prepared, batch cooking can make such a difference!

7. Measure Healthy Extras

8. Free Food - you can EAT EAT EAT so DO SO!

9. Munchies - syn up your treats, my consultant suggested a Treat Box
(but I can't do that, too much temptation!)

Remember the NEGATIVES can sound louder in your HEAD than other things so TRY not to think NEGATIVELY! emoticon emoticon

Look on the positives e.g. I am not going to feel breathless again going upstairs, my summer clothes will fit again, etc

FAIL TO PLAN, PLAN TO FAIL! emoticon emoticon

You can have ANYTHING, for example the Standard Mars Bar is 13 syns but if you don't want to spend that many of this one item get a smaller one - funsize Mars Bar is 4 syns. Admit YES I do want chocolate but ask Do I want it htat much?
