Not sure but it must have been 1994 or 1995 i think.
The book has the red plan in the front and the green plan in the back.
Idid look into joining online but at over 80 thought it was expensive, however i have just ordered the 2011 plan of ebay.
I remember i lost weight easily on the diet i stuck to mostly red days.

I am really thankful that I have achieved my target at class on Tuesday.

Welcome Cathy and well done on the 2lb loss - You can do it! When did you last follow the diet as it has gotten easy since they started doing Extra Easy rather than Red and Green days.

The Spark Cafe thread on the team page is where many of the team share their ideas.

I am thankful I still have my dear dad and we could take him to play pool for 2 hours while mum had a sitter in today. He really enjoyed it and we have arranged to go more often

I am REALLY grateful that I got back in time to pick my son up as I had to make a 30 (approx) mile round trip from leaving work this afternoon to getting back to pick my boy up from school at 3.10pm.

I am so thankful that my smear test has come back clear. I was worried as my periods are no longer as regular as they used to be, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 4 weeks etc. But as the test was okay I am so thankful and very relieved and pleased.

I am thankful that I woke today to a whole new day ahead.
I am thankful that yesterday is now in the past and today is my chance to acknowledge my past mistakes and move on from them with God's Grace.
I am thankful that I know that I am loved - by God, by my family and my friends, all of whom I am truly thankful for.
I am thankful that I can also find support from good people such as your good selves reading this on the SP site, so I am REALLY thankful that I decided to learn to use a PC.
I resisted for a long while but cannot imagine life without it now.
I am thankful that in these hard times my hubby still has employment and we have just enough income to survive without too much of a struggle.
As Mr Micawber said in Charles Dickens novel David Copperfield
"Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen pounds nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery."
On that note - I am thankful that although I remember the pre -decimalization monetary system well, I am fit and well
I am thankful that although the frost and cold is here, I have shelter in a comfy home.
I am thankful that I am able to welcome young people who need short break care into that home and support their parents/carers.
I am thankful that we had a medical review yesterday as required for our Foster Care obligations and no real problems were apparent - apart from my obesity ofcourse.
I am thankful that life is good and that even when troubled times come, positive things come from the struggles.

A new topic, lets post as often as we like, maybe even daily to describe people or situations we are thankful for and appreciative. Positive I thought.
