Hello and emoticon !! emoticon

I'm glad you have such a wonderful support network. So very important for us dealing with PTSD and all of the other effects of trauma. I'm intrigued by trauma yoga as I have never heard of it.
If you feel comfortable explaining about what it entails I would love to learn more about it. I have trouble relaxing.

So glad you're here! I hope to get to know you better!
Hugs

emoticon for introducing yourself and emoticon . I've dealt with PTSD as well, and will always be thankful for 2 wonderful therapist at different points in my life. I don't get triggered very often these days, but do have tools to cope more successfully.

I'm impressed and pleased that you have found so many supportive people, groups and activities. That's fantastic self-care! emoticon emoticon

Feel free to review and join any discussion threads, or start your own. We aren't a real active group at present, but I usually check in daily. I look forward to getting to know you as much as you feel comfortable sharing.

I am new to this team, I struggle with PTSD and cope with emotional eating. For me, food, weight, and trauma are very intertwined which is why it has been such a struggle to lose weight.

I have great supports- I have a state assigned social worker, a therapist who I see twice a week, clubhouse membership, psychiatrist, trauma yoga, domestic violence support group, rape support group, SMART Recovery, and more. I am looking at joining TOPS and another rape support group in the future if they are a good fit.
